Not as dark as I would like, unfortunately. Being right on the water gives you a good view of the downtown area in Saugatuck/Douglas, which means the nightlife looks like this:

It's pretty, but you may have to keep the curtains closed to get a good night's sleep.

No. Aside from boat traffic, there's the undertow. Fishing lines and loose bits of netting are also a concern.
