I've decided I'm not fond of it... lots are using it around the site, though. Some of the reasoning behind the addition can be found at the following GA link: gayauthors.org/forums/topic/45776-read-it Spoiler Now I wonder how many people will give me a check mark reaction to let me know they clicked on, and read, that link? 5 2

I'm a little disturbed, although not surprised, you have a bird called the "butcherbird". 7

Of course you would vote for your fav penguins And yes the butcherbird “butchers” it’s prey - well it has something to hold it in place as it eats the body, a rock or twig or similar 1 3 3

Yeah, whether it's intentional or not, that's the feeling I get too. I have no intentions of ever using it. Hey, bro. 6 1

In the forums can seem almost as though a comment that someone has made is simply being dismissed. The first time I spotted someone using it for one of my comments in here I did initially feel that way. But then I realised that I had included a link to a newspaper article, so assumed the reaction was meant to indicate that the person was letting me know that they had read the article in the link. Hey, Marty. 5

Popular Post Headstall Posted October 29, 2019 Popular Post Posted October 29, 2019 Happy Tuesday, all. 14 degrees here, but rainy. Remember to stop and appreciate the world around you... I watched a wooly bear caterpillar move across the entire length of my veranda as I sipped my tea. Such patience and determination... it took the long way around my foot and carried on. Fascinating. Apparently, if the orange band is wide and the caterpillar is fluffy, it will be a bitter winter... this one didn't have as much orange as the one in the photo, but it was really fluffy. 1 1 5

It looks like whilst you were appreciating the beauty of the natural world, I was busy getting myself dirty trying to clean some of the rooms in the old house I was talking about buying a few months or so back. The sale went through last Friday but, as it has been a long public holiday this past weekend, I was only able to pick up the keys today. So much work to do... I hardly know where to start. I'll definitely need to get some sort of a handyman/builder to sort out the damp that's coming though from above. Not sure if it's the flashing around the chimneys, or the blocked eave-runs (gutters), or possibly both, or something else entirely. I'll also have to get the suspended floor in the large living room either replaced or repaired as well, and see about getting some oil for the central heating - although I do intend to replace the oiil fired boiler with a heat exchange unit just as soon as I can afford it. And the garden! I must start up the strimmer and begin clearing the away the weeds, briars and brambles that have taken it over since it went on the market around eighteen months ago... Busy, busy, busy.... 5 2
