I broke curfew this afternoon and drove the 20 miles to pick up my medication from the pharmacy. 

Whilst I was there I also bought some fresh fruit and vegetables from the supermarket, along with some fresh meat. And some mushrooms and a few tins of sardines! Sorry, Val and Page (not! :gikkle:).

Oh! I managed to get a garden rake as well! :2thumbs:

I understand the curfew but since your druggist is not within the allowed travel distance exceptions should be made. Also, the fact you combined two acceptable reasons for being out into one trip rather than multiple journeys is also to your credit.

The dried fruit I use is the standard Dried Mixed Fruit that is sold in the UK and Ireland.

Basically  50% sultanas, 18% raisins, 18% currants, and 14% chopped candied citrus (orange and lemon) peel.

Do you have raisins? Sultanas are golden raisins, combined with the regular raisins they make up 68% of the mix. I have a similar recipe that only uses raisins and is quite tasty.

I've used half-and-half sultanas and raisins in the past when I've had no dried mixed fruit. Sometimes I add glacé cherries as well.

I tried to do a “Marty” and book in a few other jobs tomorrow but don’t have a full list :( 

 

On the other hand, @Valkyrie should be happy that I am protecting her from a fate worse than peas... I am eating roast mushroom with garlic with my quiche tonight. It’s a brave and courageous thing I do...
