That looks tasty. I think if I were to use pears in place of the apples I would also substitute gorgonzola for the cheddar.

It's currently 61/16° and breezy here with bright sunshine. Decidely cooler than yesterday's 84/29°.

There was a similar salad with pears, but dressed with maple-bacon vinaigrette. I chose not to include it, however, because I know your Mum isn't fond of bacon.

I haven't been following the news, but saw something on FB about local hospitals lowering their flags.

My youngest son dropped off my horse wormer for me, and we had a great talk. His work is paying him 75% of his wage until this is over. He doesn't have to go on unemployment, and he can pay his bills without worry.   I am so relieved for him.
