G'day y'all. No early morning walk for us today ... it's a "soft" morning. Despite it being warm enough at 74/23° to be out I just don't feel like getting wet. Too, Thistle is content to be snuggled up and doze a bit more. The forecast is for intermittent showers/light rain and moderate temps with a line of heavier storms later in the day before a cold front pushes through to bring cooler less humid weather for tomorrow.

Happy Saturday, everyone!

Cool day here, just at the moment. Overcast, breezy, only around 12°C/54°F, and feeling a few degrees lower with the breeze. Only the occasional light shower promised. Were it not for the fact that I am involved with a training session on Zoom for most of the day, it might actually be a good day for continuing lifting the maincrop potatoes. Fortunately, I've not a lot to do in the training session. Someone else is giving the bulk of he training. I'll hopefully get some garden work done in the evening, after the training session finishes.

Hope everyone else's day goes well.

I went outside to water the late planting of beets and leeks I had sowed, and I almost went back inside to change into long pants. This morning was not the right temperature for shorts. Some of the trees already have a little blush of color to them. I foresee pumpkin donuts and apple cider in the near future.
