Not too bad of a day here. Dry, but not a lot of sunshine.

I managed to lift the last of the potatoes after breakfast. I've left them on the ground for the time being to let some of the muddy soil dry out before storing them. I also spread the onions I lifted a week or so back on the lawn, to let the skins harden and the green tops whither a bit more. I'll string them and hang them in the old cottage eventually. Picked more runner beans and peas, and ten of the small round carrots. I'll steam them all this evening to eat with some steamed potatoes. There were more runner beans than I'll need, so half of them have gone into the freezer.

Research for a story, I assume?
