It's a beautiful day here.  Mostly sunny and mid-70s.  I'm getting some housework done and also working on my anthology story.  Joker's acting like a kitten again now that things are um... moving along smoothly

I managed to lift the last of the potatoes after breakfast. I've left them on the ground for the time being to let some of the muddy soil dry out before storing them. I also spread the onions I lifted a week or so back on the lawn, to let the skins harden and the green tops whither a bit more. I'll string them and hang them in the old cottage eventually. Picked more runner beans and peas, and ten of the small round carrots. I'll steam them all this evening to eat with some steamed potatoes. There were more runner beans than I'll need, so half of them have gone into the freezer.

Research for a story, I assume?

Yep. Pretty much have to research every word choice origin, sayings, and how things were done, or could be done... prices, banks, telegraphs, vegetation, clothes, cooking items, foods, tools, government policies... I think you get the drift...

Just finished my second epilogue... and trying to decide if I should write a third.

Not sure how you can have more than one epilogue to a single story...

@Mark Arbour wrote more than one epilogue for Black Widow, so I figure that gives me license to do the same.   See, I told the story I wanted, but I often get readers asking for more... so this time, I'm beating them to it.   It could well be Epilogue... part one, two, and three.

Re edit question. No, not different endings... just a continuation that isn't necessary for the main story, but definitely adds to it.

Multiple epilogues sound interesting...I don't think I've seen it done before.  Pretty cool.

Happy Fathers Day for all. I went down to visit Dad this weekend and the weather was awful. Was great to have a chat with him. He wanted a bagel for some reason, crispy bread I think. We all got them and they were delicious. Good choice on his part.

The weather on the way back was worse and my box shaped car was getting blown around so I stopped about 1/3 of the way back home and stayed overnight. That was a very good move  

And I sorted lunch tomorrow on the way back, local apples, local cheese, local chutney, local cheese biscuits - a nice combo
