I make mince pie too but I'll do a single larger one. I should try making small ones sometime. Yours look very tasty. Do you make your own mince filling. Years ago mum and I made true mince meat using a mix of venison and beef. Saddly, I no longer have a source for fresh venison.

The ham (it's not a real ham per say but we'll call it that) for Christmas eve dinner is cooking nicely in an apple cider broth. The house smells good. I'm already cooking it as tomorrow grandma will need the kitchen to make the capon for the Christmas day lunch.

Tonight for dad's 50th birthday we'll have a smoked salmon, poached egg and avocado dome followed by a rib eye with green beans and sauteed potatoes and for dessert I'll buy pastries at the bakery. 

Man that sounds nice when should I be there:2thumbs:
