This challenge is one that my camera club organises most years. It normally costs €5 to enter, with the winner getting a prize equal to twice the total collected from all of the entrants (the club pays the extra out of its own funds). With the fact that the monthly meetings are not in person, but via Zoom (*spit!*) for the foreseeable future, meaning that collecting the entry fees will be difficult, it may be a while before the next challenge starts... 2 2 2

And also in 2019, but that challenge was only for 24 photos (2 each month for 12 months). I have entered every one of these challenges since joining the club in 2013. Seven challenges in all. Marty Posted February 6, 2021 Posted February 6, 2021 Well, it's 1:00 am, so cocoa and bed. Catch you all on the morrow! Goodnight, all. Here's a little known offering, but one that I quite like. And maybe it fits in well with some of my comments in here tonight: 4 1

No. She'll just tell me what I already know. My mare is coming to the end of her life. I'll try to keep her going, but she has earned her rest. 6 1

While that means she can no longer be considered a young horse, she's certainly not super old either, and hopefully could still have a good number of years left. I said she soon will be in her twenty-ninth year. She turns twenty eight next month. Same age as my youngest son. That's pretty old for a mare. Geldings tend to live longer, but thirty is a stretch for them. Ponies, of course, live longer. Stallions are usually early twenties... to maybe twenty five. Any mare that lives past twenty seven is doing well. 1 5
