We're having soup. I had made a bean soup with smoked pork chop and collards after New Years and froze half. Today is a chilly wet day. Temp has been flucuating between 39/4° and 41/5° and it's rained steadily most of the day. Perfect for soup.

Thanks for your concern, guys.  And, yes, I'm still alive. Just a bit busier then usual at the moment.   

But not that busy that I haven't forgotten my week 47 of 52 black and white photo challenge...

I'm sure most of you will recognise where that was taken.

Afternoon gang

It feel a little bit like spring here with 16°C and a clear blue sky. In the front lawn the tulips have pierced (I had put a variety of colors and shapes) same for the daffodils in the raised bed in the back garden and we can see new sprouts on the fruit trees. I enjoyed the nice weather to weed the rise bed, Dad put the finishing touch to it and I've just paint it while he's gone for a bike ride.

I love those early spring days when everything feels so new and you feel like with this new beginning everything is possible.
