Not really. With how late the deliveries are (france only received 1/4 of the promised doses this months) my time wont come soon. Plus I'm only half kidding about the vet thing. The sanitary authorities have said that when we'll received a lot of doses at the same time the vets could participate in vaccinating people 🤷🏻‍♀️

Well all good things must come to an end, and here's my final offering in my challenge to take and upload a new black-and-white/monochrome photograph every week for 52 weeks. It shows the damage done by years of unchecked growth of ivy and Russian vine to one of the two stone sheds in my lower garden.

The next challenge is unlikely to start until the camera club is able to hold its meetings in person again, which won't happen until later in the summer/autumn at the earliest. However, I do have an inkling of an idea that may enable me to continue delighting (annoying?) you all with a new photograph every Friday until the new 52/52 challenge starts...

I'm sorry to see this challenge end.  I loved seeing your photographs every week.  I'm glad you have an idea for a new Friday photo series

I can understand the lad's thrill at holding the bird as number of years ago I had the opportunity to lend a fist to the falconer at the renfaire. He was a hand short when he was taking the hawks back to the aviary after a show. He looked at me and said you've been around them often enough they recognize you and with that handed me a gauntlet and then a hawk. Later that autumn I had an opportunity to go "hawking" with he and his pair of Harris hawks. We caught a couple rabbits that later became dinner for the birds.

I really like this one. There's so much to see ... the obvious neglect and yet the potential for renewal.

He has that. I've know him since before he could even talk. It's been a privilege to have been part of his life and watch him grow into the wonderful young man he has become.
