So far only all people over 75yo, those working in medicine and those under 50yo with comorbid factors can get the vaccin. So I'll probably have my shots sometime this coming autumn and by a veterinarian but hey maybe if it falls at the same time as the cats yearly shot we'll get a discount Lol... you're crazy, Tink. 6

With how late the deliveries are (france only received 1/4 of the promised doses this months) my time wont come soon. Plus I'm only half kidding about the vet thing. The sanitary authorities have said that when we'll received a lot of doses at the same time the vets could participate in vaccinating people 🤷🏻♀️ 3 3
Popular Post clochette Posted March 26, 2021 Popular Post Posted March 26, 2021 I made myself a couple of pork belly slices on the BBQ (and yes i know how to light a fire 💪) with boiled potatoes and a little spoon of cream🥲 that hit the spot! 2 4

Popular Post Marty Posted March 26, 2021 Popular Post Posted March 26, 2021 Well all good things must come to an end, and here's my final offering in my challenge to take and upload a new black-and-white/monochrome photograph every week for 52 weeks. It shows the damage done by years of unchecked growth of ivy and Russian vine to one of the two stone sheds in my lower garden. The next challenge is unlikely to start until the camera club is able to hold its meetings in person again, which won't happen until later in the summer/autumn at the earliest. However, I do have an inkling of an idea that may enable me to continue delighting (annoying?) you all with a new photograph every Friday until the new 52/52 challenge starts... 1 7

That young lad, who is the older brother of one of my two "male strippers", is now 22 years old. The family is part of my social bubble under the current Covid-19 restrictions here in Ireland. Webpage of the eagle sanctuary: http://eaglesflying.com/ I can understand the lad's thrill at holding the bird as number of years ago I had the opportunity to lend a fist to the falconer at the renfaire. He was a hand short when he was taking the hawks back to the aviary after a show. He looked at me and said you've been around them often enough they recognize you and with that handed me a gauntlet and then a hawk. Later that autumn I had an opportunity to go "hawking" with he and his pair of Harris hawks. We caught a couple rabbits that later became dinner for the birds. 1 7

Marty Posted March 27, 2021 Posted March 27, 2021 Well, it's after 1:00am here, so I reckon I should head to bed. Good night, all. The following song was played a while back on one of the Irish radio stations I like to listen to late at night, and some of the lyrics made me think of what we have all had to put up with for the past twelve months. So I thought I'd share it with you. We're sailing on a strange boat Heading for a strange shore We're sailing on a strange boat Heading for a strange shore Carrying the strangest cargo That was ever hauled aboard 4
