Hiya Pagey  

I cleared and salted the path between us and the neighbor, and the sidewalk in front of the house. I walked to the doc and the pharmacy this afternoon but I'm not going out either today. 

Dad's gone to a work thing until tomorrow night and my brother's doing extra hours doing maintenance at the nearest amusement park before the season begin again so I'll need to take care of the groceries tomorrow or Friday depending if the roads are not too icy.

The wind is so cold... even Cookie doesn't want to waste time playing outside. I had to cut the lower branches on my Carolina elms which border one side of the back lawn, because I was worried about losing an eye when walking Cookie in the dark.   There is still lots of shady overhang for the summer...
