Yeah, Bucket and I get some peace here when Clo, Albert and Drew are warring.  However I always have to play catch up for a while every time I log on.  Bucket and I are near the same time, but in different seasons.  He's going to start complaining about the cold, and I'll complain about the heat.  Actually, we've both started complaining. 

I do love the Odd Squad. 😜

Recently, I was reading a book called "Anything But Fine", by Tobias Madden. The MC, Luca, is an aspiring ballet dancer, but suffers a critical Lisfranc fracture in his foot after falling down some stairs. No longer able to dance, and having neglected the academic side of his scholarship, Luca is forced to transfer from his private arts academy to the public high school across town. Which is where he meets Mr. Popular, who, sadly, is straight. Or is he?

Tbh, I was hoping that the romance would play a minor role, with the story focused on ballet and physical therapy, but that wasn't the case. There were several other major issues, and I almost DNF. I donated my copy to a secondhand store, as I don't care to read it again.

Disappointing, but I agree with you completely.  I rarely finish a bait and switch book, unless there is something about the switched theme that catches my interests.  No often, but sometimes.

I'm acclimatised after all these years. I do well when the temperatures are under 30 C and head for the aircon if they get over 32 C.  Ever heard of siesta, It is the rule in the villages and accommodated in the cities with split shifts and minimal staff from about 12 PM to 4 PM.  I usually take a nap so I can stay up later when life comes back in late afternoon to 1 PM.  That's why I rarely listen to your Nanny mode.

Hi Mister T  thanks, we'll see about that. First exam starts in an hour 🤞 and like always I feel like suddenly my mind is all empty and I've forgotten to take something important  (drink and snacks ✔, ID and student ID ✔, lot of pens in about every colors possible ✔ and watch ✔).
