Hi Guys!  Since I had an early wake up for the Dr appt. I am now sleepy and heading off to bed.  Hope you all have a good day.  Tell Drew to hold down the bombing.  In need my beauty sleep tonight! :gikkle:

Hello and good night, Terry. Sweet dreams.

I'll help you get started @spike382. First, assume that all forces other than gravity are negligible. Second, you have givens in the problem, it's a matter of plugging them into the right equations. :)

So here are the known variables, or givens:

I just provided you givens, so this is now a moot point. -_-

Then again, I do take for granted what each variable means, with that in mind...

  • x and y are the horizontal and vertical displacements respectively
  • the x and y components of v are the horizontal and vertical velocities
  • v itself is the speed
  • t is the time
  • a is the acceleration
  • the subscript of 0 represents the initial conditions
  • the subscript of c signifies that a is constant.

Does this help?
