Hey Gary!  I appreciate it, but don't feel pressed to do them.  I had to skip making comments on several books I was reading before I took the time off.  On book had posted 5 chapters with 6-8 pages of comments for each chapter.  I did my comment, but didn't read any of the others.  I do hope you are doing well today.  I am looking forward to reading the Anthology stories this weekend/week.  Yours are at the top of the list to read. ❤️

Two new kittens came out of hiding, so that makes six healthy kittens this summer. One of them is white with a grey tail and a gray facemask... and a touch of grey on the back of one leg. He/she is adorable.

Hey, Terry!  I'm watching a docu-drama on Amazon, called "13 Lives". It's about the group of boys who were trapped in that cave in Thailand. I'd heard that most of the lads have entered the (Buddhist) priesthood now.

It was an amazing story with many heros.  It was daily news here for weeks.  The cave they were trap in is about 250 Km from here in the neighboring province of Chiang Rai.  Shortly after the rescue, they boys and their coach spent several days in a Buddhist monastery retreat.  Many Thais, single or in groups, take retreats to meditate, seek counsel and make offerings of merit during times of stress or great changes.  Here is one sight that seems to have a little knowledge of what the kids are now doing. Most are back to getting their education.  One is now a student at Cornell University.  There is also a lot of follow up on the heroes who rescued them.

Im down with my sister visiting for Fathers Day. We are having lunch on Sunday - takeaway bagels. Dad loves the bagels from the local shop so it’s a treat for him. He likes the corned beef one where as I have tried a few different ones and they are all good.

I picked my nephew up and he drove part of the way here - he needs to log a few hours driving for his license next year. It’s horrifying to think that little boy is almost ready to drive.

My brother’s oldest son just turned 16 in March.  His parents and future stepdad pooled their money to buy him this big Ford truck.  He’s turning into a mini version of my brother, but with a mullet.

Sigh... the work continues. Yesterday I milled my trim boards and painted them. My pine was too thick to fit in the J channel, so now I have a foot of sawdust under my table saw. Today I hope to get the trim finished after a third coat. My knee is sore, though, so we'll see.
