Was spending way to much time here do I cut it out to improve my productivity... Did I? Nope, just get distracted with something else now Nice pic btw, when I left you were a fairy 😁 Thank 😊 I know the feeling, it can be a very addictive place with always having someone online every hours of the day plus the stories but I love this crazy bunch of misfits too much With classes back on since early September I've mostly popped in in the evenings and I've just realized that I haven't had time to read anything not school/education related in at least 2 weeks! 2 4

I spoke with her a bit ago. The storm made landfall not far to the south of her in Georgetown, SC. Fortunately it seems she was in a less powerful part of the storm. She had no damage, didn't lose power and pond did not overflow its banks while to both the north and south there was flooding and mayhem. She said the sun was actually shining while we were on the phone. So while not the best of birthdays it wasn't a terrible one either. 7

The scratch is healing very slowly, so we will keep treating it. She still has blood vessels going to the area. We might try a special serum that provides cells for the healing process if my vet can still get it or have it made. My mare's ages inhibits her production of them. She does not have UVitis which is good. There is no infection, and her heart and lung sounds are good. 7

I was wandering through my grocers and they had a new section filled with pet treats. I thought it would be good to grab some for my sister's two dogs. Just a small scoop into a bag. When I checked the receipt at home $14 for a small scoop of yogurt drops. $14 - it would have been cheaper to buy human ones 6

Drew would probably be commenting on the goals by explaining to Gary the calculus equations needed to describe how the puck got past the goalie and into the top right corner. 1 4

The lessons are going great! It's been almost a year since he started, and the teachers are very impressed with his progress. He's gotten a few compliments from the other dance families and his classmates, which he accepts with grace. He's very passionate about dancing. Some kids at school gave him a hard time when they found out, but one of the older students has a brother who is in Max's ballet group, and it was quickly shut down. 1 4

As a kid, my parents took us to pick apples also. I loved the pies and applesauce Mom made from them. I am pleased that Max not only is doing good in ballet, but that he is getting the positive reinforcement from others. The kids giving Max a hard time wasn't good, but being defended by a classmate's older brother was awesome. Enjoy your weekend! 4
