I was gonna say, unless you slept through the test or something I'd be highly suspicious of that grade.  Don't know how long you've been studying English or speaking it vs. French, but honestly I can't really tell the difference vs all of us native speakers on here.

In primary school we start with some basic (numbers, colors, days, months, how to introduce ourself). Real stuff started in middle school with all the grammar, irregular verbs, sentence structuration...

Thing is I don't think I've read a book in French in... over 5 years. I try to read everyday, I watch most series in English so my oral and writing comprehension are good same for writing but I have a shitty accent. Being here with you all looneyss did wonfer for my comprehension of innuendos and double meaning

And that's why your knowledge of English is so impressive for a non-native speaker.  I've known a lot of non-native speakers over the years, including my ex-boyfriend who was born in Mexico and only learned English when he moved to the states at 7.  In some ways you catch jokes and double meanings that he didn't, and you're not even immersed in it every day like he was.
