Nothing tastes as good as a 2am after party plate of lasagna 👌

We went to the prom gala. It's not my kind of party but it was nice. With our ticket we could have 3 glasses of sparkling wine, soft drinks at will and there was mini food (all veggie). A lot of girls were actually wearing ball gowns. My friend was wearing a black jeans overall and me my regular jeans with black boots :lol:

I was staying up late last night, when Max came downstairs and said that he couldn't sleep. I asked him if something was wrong, and he said, "No, my brain just doesn't feel sleepy." Today was scheduled for a Teacher's Day at school, so I allowed Max to stay up with me. We made a strawberry galette to pass the time, and ate it hot from the oven with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

The strawberries were fresh from the farmer's market in town. I was pleasantly surprised that they were already available, when the weather has been practically bipolar for the last two months. Max loves any kind of fruit-based desserts, especially strawberries. We also watched Wonderstruck while the galette was baking.
