That being said I remember you said something a while back about needing beta readers.  I've only ever done it for one other person in our little community here, but I'd be happy to help with that if you need it.  I've been known to offer helpful (constructive) advice for writers in the past.

Thanks for the offer Spike, it's appreciated and I may take you up on that in the future, like before I start posting the story.

The guy who is helping, and he is known to you, has read my stories and is on the same wavelength as me with them. It's almost like he knows what I want to write before I do, I won't reveal who it is but if he wants to reveal himself I'm happy for him to do that.

Or you could try a few different nicknames out.  That quite common here.  I just keep my own name, because it is fun to see how many ways my friends try to sound out the double rr and which of 5 tones to use when saying my name.
