You are right it is not funny, it is a seriously good film that shows Alan Turing's valuable contribution to the Allied war effort. It also shows how badly he was treated by the UK Government at that time, something that must never be repeated. He was a great man and that must never be forgotten.

Correct, of course you (the other Mr. T.) are also invited.  Fun fact about those chains he wore on the A-Team, it literally took him hours to put them all on.  Stephen J. Cannell , the producer of the show, was talking with him about that, and was totally aghast at how long he was spending getting ready for filming.  The very next day he had them all rigged up to a single hook so he could put them all on at once.

Stephen J. Cannell was a super nice guy by the way (and forgive my tangent) I met him once, he used to make Dallas a regular stop on his book tours.  He had all kinds of really interesting stories about his working in television in the 60's thru the 80's. I'd been reading a book series he wrote and took the opportunity to go see him.  Pretty lucky also, cause unfortunately he died just over a year after that.

I like the scene you picked, because it not only highlighted one of my heroes, Alan Turing, but also his lasting effect on LGBTQ+ youth.  I'm looking forward to reading your story very much!

I'd heard that he previously worked as a bouncer at a nightclub. He began wearing the chains when customers lost their jewelry, in the hopes that they would return and claim their missing items. Since the chains were valued at $300,000, he stopped wearing them after Hurricane Katrina, saying that it would be an insult to those who were suffering.

When I was in primaryschool, every Saturdays dad was in charge: school drop off and pick up (yup I had school on Saturday morning!) and lunch prep (steaks and fries) and we'd watched the show, the good old times
