My college is advertising jobs as French assistant in the States... @spike382 could you imagine, you amd me fighting the Drewth side by side for a full school year?!

It's a really interesting offer (if I weren't involved in the master and didn't have Looping I'd jump on it)

It's part of the Fulbright program. In addition the being paid to be a French assistant the candidats have to take 2 classes, no tuition fees, tickets to and from there, housing, health insurance and visa fee are all paid for. The offer covers everything!

Does a French “assistant” help with instruction in language classes?  Or can I apply for random assistance from any  French student?

Oh no sweetie, I was thinking like some fun ideas like getting rid of old junk in my garage, repairing marks in the walls, repainting the interior of my house new colors.

No. The burgers I made didn't have that "middle bun". A Big Mac has American pasteurized cheese, mine had Wisconsin Cheddar. The onion-y bits on a Big Mac are dehydrated onion flakes, reconstituted in water; the onions I used were freshly chopped and lightly sauteed. The pickles, buns, and sauce were homemade, whereas McD's stuff comes from who-knows-where. I even went to a local market and told them what cuts of beef I wanted for the ground beef. Then I watched as they fed the meat into a grinder.

Yup! And they were delicious! It was a lot of work, but totally worth it.
