I ate much! But it was really good! 

Puff pastry appetizers, fois gras on toast, shellfish, champagne, ficelle picarde as a first course, tournedo steak with potatoes and green beans for the main course and an exotic fruits ice cream log.  

I had a gift card and a ticket for a music festival (I'm so happy cause you was the first one we did a few years ago and the last few years we couldn't go for many reasons so it'll be cool) from my dad and money from grandma. We'll do the rest of the presents tomorrow with my brother and SIL.

We're having Bacon-Gruyere gougeres and herbed cream cheese spread for appetizers. For the main meal, it's honey-baked ham with potatoes Romanoff and roasted carrots. For my nephews, I made macaroni-and-cheese earlier in the day. It will bake in the oven at the same time as the potatoes.

Well, it's a quiet one. In a normal year I would be kilted and at church for Christmas Eve service. We chose to be cautious and not attend. I did make our usual Christmas Eve meal, seafood lasagna. That's as much as I do for feast of the seven fishes. Tomorrow I'll make a frittata for breakfast then later in the day we'll have baked ham, scalloped potatoes and fresh asparagus with cookies, etc as our sweets. 

I hope you and Steve have a very Merry Christmas.
