The way the actors' emotions and reactions are exaggerated, feels almost like watching anime. There's definitely that element in many Japanese BLs. Especially any school BLs that are based on mangas. They do have the more mature variety, My Personal Weatherman, My Beautiful Man (though early parts of the first season might feel like it), Our Dining Table (this is one of my favorites of 2023,, in some ways it might be more up your alley Pagey). 4 1

(That's usually how these stories play out. Somebody skips one meal, and then he suddenly faints from anemia.) Well Thai BLs play it slightly different... If anyone is ever remotely touched by rainwater, no matter how insignificant, they immediately have a debilitating fever the next day, which requires the standard "wipe them down with a wet cloth" scene that Drew and I frequently reference. 7

It has been a great start. I got to read Gary's newest chapter, which was AWESOME! I also worked on Craig's story to help get it ready for posting soon. Since I participated in the tribute to Carlos Hazday, I've been replying to the comments and reviews of my poems in Carlos' honour. Aod's been very quiet today because he is assembling his new GAT X-105 Strike Gundam model. How's your start? 1 6

Trust me, Spike, that is a real-life depiction of how Thais react to rain, showers, or swimming. Aod is constantly nagging me to dry my hair more after showering, even though my hair dries faster than it takes to him to dry his using a hairdryer. Songkran is the one time when everyone gets thoroughly drenched without immediately getting dry. 6 1

How's your start? I think it's adorable that your husband likes Gundam models. My year could have started better. If only I didn't need to report to work at 10:00 a.m., after staying awake until 2:00 the night before. I've actually been considering a change in jobs, recently. Something more challenging than tossing salads, and ideally with better hours and pay. 2 2 2

The only caveat is to expect and make the best of the unexpected results from the change. 5 1

Unfortunately, it means it will be a day or late because It still needs Terry to check it over for editing before I can post it. I hope you had a pleasant night. Good luck with your appointment. 🍀 And don't sweat it. Your readers won't pick their pitchforks and torches if a chapter is posted a day or two late. 4 1

I'm watching a Korean one, and the first kiss also happened at the end of episode five. By 'standard', I mean any physical contact comes later on the show. Edited January 2 by bignick 1 5

More like water cannons! The secret ingredient is ice! Thais also use buckets and hoses, and in Petchabun, Aod's family home, a local temple uses a fire truck. 6 1
