I've seen stories on Reddit, posted by Americans who went on holiday to Germany, Australia, etc. The "exotic" animals at the zoo included North American squirrels and possums. Which makes sense, considering squirrels and possums ARE exotic to those locations. But it just sounds bizarre to me, since I tend to see those animals every day. 5

This weekend is heritage days so every cultural places such as museums, zoo, and power places like the presidential palace are free and opened to the public. In the end no zoo for us cause there was over 1h30 of line to get in and over 4000 people already inside. I'll try tomorrow morning. 5

Though I've checked the website and there are Prevost squirrels from Thailand and Malaysia. There que red panda though! There are monkeys who wander "free" meaning there's no cages, they have a big space with trees which is separate by a tiny river and a cord. There used to be elephants but they were sent to Belgium as the zoo is expending, soon the girafes will be black. This page shows all the animals https://www.zoo-amiens.fr/decouvrir-le-zoo/les-animaux/par-espece/amphibiens 3 2
