Hi Albert. A couple of days ago the doctors put me back on the list as a priority, which makes me feel hopeful. They have told me that if a kidney becomes available recovery will take longer than before so I just have to wait it out. It looks like I may be spending my birthday in the hospital, but it won't be the first time that's happened, I'll still find a way to celebrate.

My favourite is a chocolate sponge layer cake with cherry jam filling and smothered in chocolate flavour icing, lol. It's not very healthy, but it's delicious.

I remember seeing this one several years ago. It wasn't long after Max came to live with us. I was thinking all throughout the movie, "Why didn't the dude go to see an actual physiotherapist?"

Though, I think a young actor named Nolen Dubuc may have been an influence on Max's decision to take up ballet, so I can't complain too much.

I have mixed feelings about foxes. I mean, they're incredible animals, but when you hear those screams at 4:00 in the morning....

Mum and I make fruitcake. She was given a recipe by a number of years ago for a very good Southern white fruitcake. Even folks who don't think they like fruitcake like ours. I think it's the bourbon we use to "cure" them.

I wrote a short poem more than a few years ago about a glimspe of one when Thistle and I were out for an early morning walk. It appearred out of the morning fog and that quickly ghosted away again back amongst the cornstalks.
