Thorn Wilde Posted December 23, 2018 Posted December 23, 2018 It's Christmas. Heard this one today and can't get it out of my head now. 1
Former Member Posted December 24, 2018 Posted December 24, 2018 Oh the delicious irony of listening to Barbra Streisand singing The Lord’s Prayer on her A Christmas Album. There’s apparently a US Federal law that all Jewish singers must release at least one Christmas album. And then there are the lyrics of this particular hymn that include forgiving ‘our debts as we forgive our debtors’ – in a season that has become an orgy of commercialism and greed leading to massive debt.
Page Scrawler Posted December 24, 2018 Posted December 24, 2018 (edited) @droughtquake I wonder if Lucas can sing like this? ;~) Edited December 24, 2018 by Page Scrawler 1

If Woody doesn’t end up with him, maybe we can convince @Ronyx to write a rare sequel featuring Lucas and Page*! I’d say you should write it, but you just claim to be the “Brilliant Idea” Guy. I only come up with wild tangents as the Redacted Redacted Redacted. ;–) * And when Lucas & Page have a son, they can call him Page Boy. Just like John Boy Walton. (Page Boy, it’s not just for haircuts anymore!) ;–)
Ronyx Posted December 24, 2018 Posted December 24, 2018 @droughtquake I think I'll write a sequel featuring Lucas and Darth Vader. Then their son can be Luke Skywalker. @Page Scrawler I share your love for Libera. Here's my Christmas favorite: 1 1

My grandnieces are both older than your nephew at 2- and 4-years-old! ;–) And my parents were 30 when they had my older brother. He didn’t have my older nephew until he was 32. My nephew started ‘early’ at 29! My family takes things slow… ;–)

Thorn Wilde Posted January 9, 2019 Posted January 9, 2019 When I saw Death Cab for Cutie a few years ago, he played this song un-amplified. He sat at the edge of the stage, and I've never heard a concert hall that holds 1800 people so silent. It was amazing. I cried.
Thorn Wilde Posted January 13, 2019 Posted January 13, 2019 I prefer early Maiden to the later stuff.
