It's time to tell that patient to find a new PTA.

That's up to my boss, but the patient did miss a part of treatment he wanted because we didn't have time.   Maybe that'll help.

Book an 8:00 A.M. appointment and stroll nonchalantly in at 8:10 or 8:15.  I've been dealing with this all week and I'm about to lose my mind.  I think if I just showed up 10 to 15 minutes late to treat them, they might not act so casual.

So since I'm not afraid to be percieved as an idiot. I will admit for the longest time, when I read the title of this here thread, I assumed PTA meant parents teacher association.

And in that context, almost all your posts never made sense to me. What does anything you say have to do with parents and/or teachers.

Last week my friend tore his groin, and it going to a PTA. Suddenly @CassieQ makes perfect sense and I'm having a right good ole laugh at myself.

I can see how parents and patients might look similar to the casual skimmer.

I hope your friend does well with his rehab, and please tell him, for the love of God, to please arrive on time.

See, you're giving me the benefit of a doubt, I don't think there is anything you ever post that I casually skim, I'm a low key huge fan of your work and your wit. I'm also petrified of posting a comment to your stories and in my excitement won't make myself clear and piss off more people than I already have on this site.

I am just very slow most of the time, ask anyone.

My friend is like me, we are rarely late as it shows disrespect.

Thank you, I'm glad some people get it.

You posted comments for most of my Not The Sun series, and in my defense,  I only sassed you once intentionally.  :P

Its you and @JLynch that got me into the most trouble because you two got me so heavily invested in the story that I wanted to comment. And back then I wasn't so diplomatic because I thought everyone thought like me. Since then I have changed the way I interact with stories, I censor myself and only comment when something surprises me or it's a scenario I really really like. It's stopped me from commenting so much on stories but since I never say anything important, everybody wins. :) Thankfully I have no desire to be a beta reader, I'm sure I'd be even worse at that position.

Anyway, I think you rock.

I don’t understand the context of this comment or the thread.

Okay, after a bit of page one of this thread, I figured out PTA in the context didn't mean Parent Teacher Association, but instead something like Physical Therapy Associate.  (If that is not right for the PTA acronym please correct me.)

😮

I hope it is education, not just intolerance :( Sadly, people are educated but they choose to be ignorant and hurtful 😢 I really don't know why, does it make them feel superior in the moment? I mean, if someone doesn't look or act like you, especially something like Tourettes, you must know they are not doing it on purpose and probably a medical condition.

Give your co-worker a collective hug  from us.

Ways to Annoy Your PTA (not parental Teaching assistant), low key stalk @CassieQ to find out where the clinic is. Fake an injury, request @CassieQ and then talk non stop about anything except rehabbing my fake injury. Plus I'll bring coffee with home-made caramel and fresh whipped cream.
