Site Administrator Myr Posted January 1, 2020 Site Administrator Share Posted January 1, 2020 I picked up the hardcover book on this out of enhanced communication. https://www.montecookgames.com/store/product/cypher-system-rulebook-2/ I've been reading it along and I think I'll probably have this lurking in the background under at least one of my story worlds. Just to help me keep my world consistent. It will also tie into my use of World Anvil. Anyone familiar with the Cypher system? 1 Link to comment
Brayon
Never played Cypher System, but have played other systems that Monte Cook has been apart of. Mostly D&D. I would say it would be a good product based on that. I've always been one to advocate using RPG style rules to keep Sci-Fi and Fantasy stories in the realm of plausibility. Already pushing the boundaries in those genres, but having a framework to keep from "God Modding" characters, especially in action scenes, and just what characters can do. 1 Link to comment
