Quickest Way out of Moderation Queue?

Hey all, 

I'm fairly new here, having come back to the site from a long absence. The moderation queue wasn't a thing when I was here 12 years ago. I'm not sure I totally understand the need for it past the first chapter of a story (which is my experience on a lot of other sites), but I thank the mods for doing it because it seems like it would be a lot of work. 

It looks like I get Rep points every time someone reacts to a post (chapter, reply, etc.) Any suggestions on how to get my 250 faster? I've been trying to reply in the forums, but honestly they are kind of quiet so that hasn't been going too well.

You need to get likes on your story and chapters, not just in general.  The number you are at is visible to you and staff in a gray box below your name on your author page.

That's the technical aspect. I'll let someone else cover the marketing aspects.

Read and comment on other stories. You may even spark interest in your own work if other readers like your commentary.

Then again, moderation's not that big a deal. CIA's pretty fast.

Also, reply to all comments on your own story.  And like Carlos said, the delay time is minimal even if the frustration factor is high.

Reading and commenting on other people's stories is definitely a good way to go about it. It can totally feel like a grind at first, but you're a good writer. You'll get there.
