Popular Post kbois Posted July 29 Author Popular Post Posted July 29 So.... A little update on the life of Kbois. For those of you who don't know, I ditched Florida last year to move home to Massachusetts. My husband's mom got to the point where it wasn't safe for her to live alone anymore. My husband moved up in Sept 2024 (literally right after Hurricane Milton. His original flight got changed 2 times). We were having some issues and needed a break from each other. We've since worked things out. Last summer I made the decision to move so we could work on things while helping out his mom. So far it's been a lot of ups and downs. She's 91, and the difference in her cognitive behavior is like night and day since the spring. Unfortunately, it hasn't been easy dealing with hubby's two sisters that live locally. One isn't that bad, the other....well, we've blocked and deleted her number. We still have to interact with her because she is the one who coordinates all of her mom's appointments and such. We're looking to move out within the next 3 or 4 months. Thankfully, we don't live far from my sane brother and two of my best friends from childhood (yes, the one Cassie is sort of modeled after in Tattoo. Lol). Getting together with any of them provides an oasis of calm in a sea of anxiety. Hopefully my Daughter-in-law will find a teaching position for next fall at a good university. She's finishing up her doctorate in textiles and wants to teach at the collegiate level. We went to visit them in Kansas in May for my older son's birthday. We had such a good time. My younger son still lives with us, but is planning on moving in December to live with a friend. Most likely in Indiana. Thankfully, he's doing much better. Dealing with his mental health issues is a big part of the reason I hit a roadblock with my writing. So that's pretty much it, in a nutshell. Its good to be back. I've missed the Khaos in the Korner. 8

kbois Posted July 29 Author Posted July 29 On a more serious note, has anyone heard from Danilo? I emailed him when I was getting ready to edit the story and got no response. It looks like he hasn't been on GA since early May. Its not like him to not reply. I'm a bit worried. 5

You've also forgotten about @Mrsgnomie swooping in 5 seconds after a post hits. I've heard she's back in business now that she found the charger for her burner phone that got misplaced during her move from The South to The North. Edited July 29 by spyke 6

He's most likely burrowed into a pile of blankets somebody tossed in the Korner for the sole purpose of luring him into a nap. Those doxies love pretending to be a burrito. 5
