Ok, I loaded chapter 11 so it's ready to go on time tomorrow. I've been a bit busy the past few days as the hubby and I spent 8 hours in the ER yesterday with my mother-in-law. She's ok. She has UTI, which at 91 it causes altered mental status and she already has moderate dementia. It was a tough couple of days as she went from being able to walk to not being able to. On Sunday, she almost fell as I was walking her back to her chair. My husband had to grab the wheelchair as I was balancing this 130lb woman on my knee and holding her up with a gait belt so she didn't land on the floor. Getting her into bed was incredibly difficult that night. Monday morning she started talking to her dead husband. That's when we called 9-1-1. So off she went and we spent all day there until we finally called one of the evil sisters and said we needed to go, someone had to come take over. She was admitted this morning and will most likely be discharged to a skilled nursing facility for medical management of her UTI and rehab to get her back walking. At this point we don't know if she'll be able to come home. There are options the sisters are looking into before that decision has to be made. SO the chapter will post tomorrow sans Gnomie's editing again as she has been busy with family stuff and her work. That's the way life goes sometimes.

Hi Sherye! Glad to have you with us. And yes, the ankle nipper can be sweet. Granted he's like a lemon that you need to dump a ton of sugar in with in order to tolerate. 😅

I already know about @weinerdog and he may be a ankle biter but he can be sweet too!

Good new Krew! I heard from @Danilo Syrtis and he is still with us, although he's been having some medical issues which is why he has been MIA. I was so worried and it's such a relief to have gotten an email from him. He's not up for beta reading but that's perfectly okay. I'm hoping for a full recovery for him.

I have those insomniac moments. Happens to everyone as they age. Sucks getting old, doesn't it?

Or I could throw you all off and post in the middle of the night during one of my many insomniac moments. @chris191070 might beat y'all to it.
