I think you are right on. I had the same feelings when I read the chapter. They both are interesting in the way that they decide when to be "gay" and when not to be. And yes, he is becoming more comfortable with James, but he is only 8 and jealousy can always rear it's ugly head again. I also think that Nick is close to coming out to his dad and he really likes Lori. I think that she is a wonderful woman and the way she deals with him is so touching.
