I had apparently started reading this story before. I did not indicate that I was following the story, so lock track until today. It's somewhat strange, but I want to find out what happens with Alex and Jake. -
This was a delightful chapter. You are correct that we needed a chapter without any chaos. I remember going to the Jersey Shore during my service in the United States Air Force. I was stationed at McGuire AFB and would occasionally go to the Jersey shore to swim in the ocean and enjoy the scenery.

So you have never had Funnel Cake? You have missed a real treat. Growing up in Kansas and going to county fairs, the big fair in Topeka, and the Kansas State Fair in Hutchinson, funnel cakes were a real treat. They are basically waffles that are deep fried and topped with powdered sugar, as well as different jellies or other toppings. Funnel cakes are also popular at carnivals and other events.

WOW! This was a powerful double chapter. Both Teddy and Ryder went to the depths of their soul trying to deny their relationship and their deep love for each other. Ryder's grandmother definitely needs to share the letter from his father. He needs to read it soon.

I enjoyed this chapter. I visited Savannah a couple of times, but did not do much exploring. You have given me reasons to visit the city again. I remembered the many stately homes in the city. I am curious about Wesley.and wondered if he was related to John and Charles Wesley, who founded the Methodist Church in England. I am still waiting for the romantic tale to begin. Thanks again for writing.

I keep waiting for you to take a detour to the Appalachian Trail which runs on top of the mountain range in Central and Western Virginia. It's actually a two-lane paved road, although bikers will pass you during the Spring, Summer, and Fall. It's an amazing drive with several places to return to the main highways.

Visiting cemeteries can be interesting, especially trying to locate graves of grandparents, great-grandparents, and great-great-grandparents. During a couple of our annual family reunions, one of my cousins took us to visit the graves of relatives. I have visited the graves of twelve of my great-great-grandparents, which are all located in small towns in Northeast Kansas. That actually helps in tracing the geneology of the various clans. This does seem an interesting way to learn more about Tom.

Your description of traffic in Boston is right on target. Since the Democrats have controlled Massachusetts for many years, getting anything constructive done almost takes an act of Congress. They talk about progress, but find some unnamed snail to create a snarl.

This was a delightful chapter with the focus on food offered at the buffet at the restaurant. The differences between food choices for the two guys was interesting. I'm surprised that fish chowder was not one of the offerings mentioned, since that is a favorite in Maine.

This chapter was truly delightful. The exploration to the private lake was great for additional bonding between Peter and Eric. Although Eric could not keep the secret about the birthday party, the thought by Queen Alla was touching. Then, you have added the budding romance between Olek and Helga. This was suspected the first time that Helga was introduced as a character. Thanks for writing this amazing story.

You are writing another interesting story with much imagination, in addition to facts about space exploration. I truly enjoy reading your stories. I wonder how you have so many creative juices to keep things interesting. I will look forward to reading more of "Deep Space Journey".

I am truly enjoying the recent chapters of this story. I took a break while catching up reading some other stories on this and other sites. The addition of Rob to the story will definitely create some interesting diversions. The travels across the Northern states is proving to be an eye-opening experience for the three troubadours. Thanks for writing. I can hardly wait to read the remaining chapter. -
You keep adding new wrinkles to this story. Of course, that helps to keep the story going on and on and one. Even though the story moved on from Thanksgiving with the McKenzie's, I'm still amazed at the reaction of the aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. The revelation that a German was part of the family really brought reality to the situation. I started reading this story last week, but have reached Chapter 54 already.

You have posted another delightful chapter. You included some sexual activity, which made the juices start flowing. Sam''s father popped the questions that Sam wanted to make to Brian. Everything is set up for Brian and Sam to move in together.

Now that was an exciting chapter. You moved the relationship between Jake and Kaiden all the way from meeting with Jake's friends for most of an evening to sexually stimulating each other in Kaiden's bedroom. That's a great deal of progress in a short time, especially for Kaiden. I'm definitely looking forward to more of this saga.

I agree with drpaladin that Anton should have talked to the manager of the company. The company is the customer. I know that Anton is leery of the press and the scandal that they might create. He is taking a risk by delivering goods to break the trucker's strike. I admire Anton and his crew for taking this action, since the unions often have unrealistic demands. Thanks for continuing with the Frontier stories. They provide interesting and entertaining reading.

This was definitely an interesting chapter. Sam was brave and direct in his conversation with Richard. To top the conversation, he let Brian know exactly how he felt about him. Richard may try to come back to Brian, but the message should have been clear to him.

WOW! This is a great story and perfect to start reading on National Coming Out Day. I follow a number of stories on this site, but am always looking for another one to follow. Kay's relationship with Sarah is definitely interesting. She could tell immediately that there was not going to be a dating relationship between them. His mother's reaction was amazing, almost as if she was expecting this to happen. Josh's reaction was priceless. Imagining what Josh is really like and having him stop in the middle of the sentence with hi... made me want to laugh. Thanks for writing this story. I will look forward to many more chapters.

I have been reading this story on another site, but have been anxiously awaiting the posting of each new chapter. Now, I can read many chapters. I will still read the chapters on the other site, since I may miss something along the way. I like your writing style and the mysterious themes that run through your stories. River of the Dead is one of the most unusual. Thanks for writing.

It was great to read another chapter of Granger's adventures, although this one had less drama than usual. Someone is pulling Spencer's chain to place Granger in danger. And now the powers that be want to saddle him with another officer who needs training. I will still look forward to future chapters and getting my Granger fix. Thanks for writing.

I need to second the comments from other readers. They have indicated many of the finer points of this story. Your stories are quite interesting. You always add some suspense to your stories to keep readers coming back for more. I am waiting for more to happen in the relationship between Sebastian and Huon. Yes, they are cousins, but since they have reconnected, let the fun commence.

This is an amazing story. I have always been fascinated by superheros beginning with Superman and continuing with Batman. Finally, Ryan is going to achieve some of his dreams. He had never considered becoming a Champion, but the circumstances are leading him to that destiny.
