    i said yes because "whatever it takes" to me just means being flirty and being myself as hard as i can. if that does it, then he's better off with me anyway, if not, it wasn't going to work. i don't play low dirty, just... difficult dirty.

    yeah i think the issue here is from the tendency to couple the idea of a pleasant first time with the loss of virginity. you can make an argument for rape, but let's say straight guys get experimental and do it to each other, sorry they're not virgins anymore, even if it isn't what they wanted their first time to be like. sex is sex.

    do you do it to the people who are the cause of the frustration, or (and this will be an oversimplified example, no one snaps this easily) is it like okay my car broke down so i'm going to invite my dog onto this person's freshly-washed floor? the former is my problem. when someone disagrees with me i go for the throat way too quickly.

    i'm sure there are reasons, but i don't think escapism is the catch-all term for them. i hate talking about this subject because anything that isn't "drugs are bad bad bad they ruined my momma and my daddy and i will never do them because i am a good boy" has a stigma attached to it. did i condone them? no. again: i don't like the idea that one experience can speak for all others.

    i don't think this is flaming, but i don't think you can extend your idea on why EVERYONE PERSON WHO DOES DRUGS DOES THEM when you have only your experience to draw from. it's the same reason i can't say for certain that you're wrong; i can make guesses at why some people do them, but i can't be sure. this isn't an addict defending himself; i drink on occasion, can count the number of cigarettes i've smoked on one hand, and tried pot twice. i'm just saying: speak for yourself.

    there's nothing wrong with being on the extreme left. the thing about political discourse which most people don't think about enough is that if you're on the 'extreme left,' the unsaid tag is 'to everyone else.' i do not want to be like most people i meet. that's not to say that i'd ostracize myself politically just to be different from them. it's just to say that if anyone's views differ greatly from that majority, no alarms should go off. mccain is unimpressive, and his political tactics are nauseating. those commericials calling obama the biggest celebrity while showing pictures of spears and hilton should make the GOP feel embarrassed.

    i'm glad you brought that jill sobule song to my attention because now i'm sad. i thought katie perry was a kind of progress, but maybe she isn't. i catch myself thinking, "oh - we're taking such great steps forward!" but things keep happening to tell me we're not. at any rate, it's no more offensive than a lot of other songs. there are non-christian sentiments in the world. oh well. they can have a version. i killed a fag and i liked it. the feel of his skull to my bat. i killed a fag just to try it. i hope his boyfriend don't mind it. i felt so strong. i felt so right.

    he did nothing new. this is what i mean. shakespeare: fit for high school plays and jeopardy questions. also: he wrote in five-stress lines, related to iambic pentameter, and was one of the first english poets to do so, along with inventing his own meter, not to mention what he did for framed narrative.

    i'm attracted to whites mostly, but honestly that's most likely because that's what 98% of the people around me are. i find a lot of blacks attractive. also, i find people who are partially asian to be really good looking, which is weird because i don't think i've been attracted to someone who was entirely asian. by and large, i also tend to go for italians one way or another.

    i'm one of those suckers for multilingual people. that'd be a plus. reads a lot, obviously. i think i need him to be entertained by simple things: walking, sitting around and having comfy time during jeopardy, cooking. we can go on adventures. makes me want to improve myself. probably means someone who accomplishes a lot and makes me feel like i need to catch up. doesn't remind me of a high school girl. physically, i'd like 5'7-5'11, skinny to medium build, sharp features. i tend to like dark hair. however there have been people who don't fit that description at all whom i've drooled after. you wouldn't think someone who partially fits this would be hard to find...

    if you have time to watch TV, you have time to get a GED having said that, the job market is rough right now. if you want to make it on your own you are going to have to cut down. do you smoke? that could be the first thing to go. you make it sound like things are out of your control but you said you dropped out of high school which sounds like your decision. i'm sure there were other factors, but i'm also sure children in worse circumstances have made it through. i hope you and your boyfriend get along well. with everything you have against you, you need some kind of pillar.
