  1. I second Curti -- it's hard to say which would be the best pick without knowing the shape of your fiance. I like P001 the best of what was there, simple, sweet, elegant. 10010 is quite nice too. All the best, planning for a wedding is hard work!

    Thwack!

What a lovely compliment. Cheers! I do so much love to write. It's a pity this one has to be on hold a while, I'm not sure when I'll get round to finishing, but it'll happen at some point!
  3. Bombarding me with reviews? Mind? Never, I appreciate the time you take to leave me a note, and I love hearing opinions on my stories, lol! Thank you!!

    Story

Thank you for the compliments. *blushes* Yes, I love a happy ending too. I can never seem to escape it (and I don't really want to, lol)

    Chapter 1

Thank you Carrington. Though I'm sorry if I give you any bad dreams. Thanks for reading and commenting.
  6. Jandals (flip-flops) -- that's what I wear in the heat, and it seems like loads of people stroll in them here.
  7. Walk -- I really need to walk it off. It helps cool me down and give me perspective. With the exercise, music helps too. I usually really listen to lyrics of songs when I get stressed and try to focus on something else. I guess it depends on the type of stress too. Sometimes it's really great to chat it out with a friend.
  8. My thoughts, prayers, and sympathies to the people of Norway.
  9. again. I remember just wishing for him to wake up in this chapter already. Even knowing what happens, I still wished he'd woken up, lol. Now I think I need something light on the side to cheer myself up. I totally get what you mean about sometimes needing a break from the sad. Your three wishes makes a stark contrast. Thanks for the read!
  10. :/ X like, a thousand. This chapter really winds me up, I see it from both their perspectives. It just hurts to see them fight, I wanna go in there and play mediator, lol--(turns out I'm a peacemaker, lol, I avoid fighting at all costs, in fact, I realized tonight after hearing my hubs fight with his parents, that I never do that.) Anyway, knowing what happens, I got teary at the end of this chapter. Not just nervous and on the edge of my seat like the last time, because this time around, I knew what's going to happen... Good-good, Andy, very good and emotional chappy.

    She

That is SO sweet. I really enjoyed this one, John. I thought the way Nick sees the girl is so warm and wonderful. I like that you explore other types of relationships too, it's nice and refreshing. The girl is sweet, my only concern is if he likes her, will he be torn if he's also as captivated by her brother? Interesting story there, I think. Thanks for writing and posting. It read smoothly.
  12. One day, I'm going to give you one for real. Take care.
  13. If there's enough interest, AND if I stay on another year here (which is like a 80% chance at the moment) then I'm totally happy to try and organisze something, maybe with Andy? (that question mark is for you, Andy, lol) And DC would then be better for him if he can't travel much with the bubs, (I'd imagine). The only real problem for me is I really don't know much about what to do I'm still figuring that out myself, LOL. But, yay, this sounds like fun... And, if there's not much interest, I'll try get to the West Coast meet-up. I mean, if we know the weekend in advance then finding a cheap ticket should be pretty okay.
  14. hehehe, cute. Smart. I like it. Two more wishes, eh? While I think this works very well on its own as a story, it would be interesting to see where this goes...
  15. I guess he's gotta be one of those dogs with real hair, right. So even those with allergies would love him. Love this, very funny. teehee. Also, awesome practice for the present tense.
  16. I'm totally in a STARS phase at the moment. I just love their work. Here's an example of a song: Death to Death. Another AWESOME band that I think has so much going for it is: Fanfarlo. Check out this song, for example:
  17. Dot Matrix. But I was really unsure on the chocolate question--'cause like, generally I'm super relaxed about things, but with chocolate.... well, yeah, I do like to save some of the better flavors just for me, LOL. And honestly, Archer Hairline--the words are so pretty and nicely written. I like that one.
  18. hehe, I like my own pizza best. The base is easy to make with a yummy olive oil flair. Three cups of flour (white or a mix of white and wholemeal) Half a cup of grated parmesean 1/4 cup of Olive Oil About a cup of boiling water (put this in last and judge how much to put in, the dough should be so you can kneed it and not get too sticky, lol) Yeah, chuck it all together and roll in on the baking tray, pre-cook for 15-20 minutes while you fry up your toppings. I like an aubergine and rosemary topping myself. Yum.
  19. Coffee please! I mix 'n match with caffeinated and decaffeinated coffee. I love some hazelnut coffee. Wawas does a good one, thanks Andy for introducing me to that! hehe.
  20. Oh yes, le 14 Juillet Célébrons! Joyeux Quatorze Juillet (Thank you internet for the French, LOL)
  21. Ohhh yeah Happy Birthday, I hope you have an awesome day.
  22. Yeah, I liked this too, very sweet. When he thought he was being sold, I felt really sad for a minute--it almost felt like a betrayal. And then I was like, grrrr, he should stall on him and make such a fuss that the new owner returns him to Bryan. But then that lack of trust would be between them, so I'm so glad for the way you ended it. Sweet. Thanks for the read.
  23. Oh, hoi-hoi-hoi, the classes. Look at the response you got from this chapter--quite riled one up, I'd say. Bleh, I really dislike Mom in this one, and I feel how torn Jason is. The added pressure from Dad doesn't help, but a part of me sorta feels for him too. That he cares for his own relationship. Complicated. Awesome.
  24. I want roses and chocolates forever! *she cries. LOL.(well, by the end of the story, LOL) No, conflict is good, it makes me ANXIOUS and nerves do something crazy to my belly, let me tell you. The set up here does a lot to add to the emotion of the story later on: Jordan's insincere apology, coupled in the same chapter with Peter's win at the sport he so loves. Thanks for the read, good chappy.
  25. LOL, yeah, that was pretty cool. I like it when art surprises you like that.
