Remember: the more you just accept that this is happening, the more fun you'll have. No reason to make this an unpleasant experience." He watched a bit longer, then added, "There's a kinkster every time …" He rolled his eyes several times, like a slot machine. "No, it means we're approaching midnight. Usually, my offerings – I mean, 'guests' – are barely enough to sustain us 'til next time, and we almost fade away to nothingness. Do you know what it's like for a ghost to die? It's not pretty. -

Killian has balls...I mean tickets to a ball... If Killian asked Paul who killed him as Judy threw out there, there would be no more story... Chris is rock steady, a good counterpoint to Killian... We are still wondering what the key Killian fund opens...Does it involve Jake? While we can assume Jake is going to the ball, will he go as a guest of the one who killed Paul? Will the face from the found picture show up??? Micah, will he be willing to rebuild a relationship with Killian? Novak is up to more than nudging the boys back together...what's he doing???

I can't add to or disagree with any of the comments so far...the best chapter yet, now...the obvious part... All we know at the moment is that, from a physical standpoint, Jack has several superficial cuts...I have to expect that the scars on his back and elsewhere are courtesy of his parents, and become part of his official medical record. Having said that, as Jack's treatment stabilizes, with this documentation, Jack's parents will be forced to account for their actions... As much as the last chapter was meh for me, this one was the polar opposite. Shouldn't the next chapter be out by now?
