Well we finally getting a better idea of what Marc's family 'owns' and Marc's desire to go mining, presumably to make his own fortune... What we don't know are the reasons, most likely economic and access to strategic mineral, raw material, resources... That Marc knows about Janek's issues, I feel stem from the brief glimpse we had of his background, coming from an area/home world, that conducts "unsavory" business with those who trade 'outside' the lines...

At least this time Greg can control the narrative and be recompensated fairly for his work, and the funds realized will go a long way towards setting up a stable future for both he and Len... I've always had a begrudging respect for the young men who 'sell' their bodies for Art. Not so much for those young men who populate the various, for fee, pornographic websites. I'm not criticizing the boys who do so, we know nothing of their backgrounds or needs. it's just the sex portrayed seems to be so mechanical and scripted, with little to no, realism. Give me eroticism any day of the week, and yes, a photo or painting without showing the 'dangly bits' can be very effective!

Interesting and getting curiouser... Chief Kibosh overheard us in the training room between simulations making jokes about the young kid that scored better than us on his flight exams. He promptly put us in our place by explaining the past training he has had. And the list was long. He’s been training since he was in diapers to not only run his family’s corporation, one of the largest in our region, ~~~~~ Two weeks later, Commander Caitlin Alexander summoned us to the Executive Officer’s office and explained what was going to happen to Thorp, Uroda, and myself. We needed to pass our shuttle flight exams and Marc Alexander was going to train us. He was to be treated as we would any superior officer as his status as an Alexander of Alexander Industrials demanded. The Alexanders owned our ship and paid our salaries. Owned a few warships, enough to field two fleets if needed. Strong enough that our presence is usually enough to not need to call in elements of the CONFED Navy. Which nobody wants poking around. Then as @akascrubber pointed out... Something is afoot, what will we find out...

Cue the lights and enter stage left...and away we go!!!!

I have to wonder of the soon to arrive 'visitors' will have orders to remove Bzup and return him to shore, let's hope that when that happens, Bzup say's no...What then will transpire???

Hindsight being 20/20, would it not have made sense to keep their mouths closed while in the house?
