From Ch 4 There are more things under heaven and earth Austin than you have dreamed of…. Will Xavier reconnect with Austin and how can he accept what has been decided? Who fired the shot, were they part of this pack, or a pack in conflict with them? From Ch 5 Some pretty expensive hardware those three were packing, and interesting to see they did not want to blend in. Could they be off the island already, or are there other targets? Having gone after the pups, another pack is aware of succession issues in this pack and whoever it is, isn’t being subtle… I think this pack let their guard down, and has a mole buried, hidden with in the pack. All out war has been declared. Those driving the SUV’s are still a threat and need to be contained if possible.. if not start running license plates, tho it may not tell them much… Who/what bit Austin, and can the other body be recovered or is it too late?

Cormac should understand that his warning works both ways. It would not surprise me if, in trying to arrange an "accident' Cormac or one of his spawn gets badly hurt... As to trying to stop the work, time to put up some discrete trail cameras to monitor the sites, and have them linked to Declan's computer....They come in all shapes and sizes and are easy enough to conceal. Great Uncle Edwin reminds me of my great uncle Herbert. A pious church going man, who taught at a ‘Christian’ college. He could be and was at the best of times insufferable. And with his roving eye, it was a wonder how he managed to fool many. It was while on a church mission to Manila, that all the Filipino houseboys were changed out at his mother-in-laws insistence….

Thank you for this, and leaving the possibility of furthering the story. Just as importantly, publishing this as a completed story. So many great authors start to post before the story is completed, and then get lost...leaving us with an unfinished work.

Normally, this would have been a story I would have walked away from, until I gave the first chapter a chance, and got hooked, as you will see by my comments. There is a richness and depth to all who populate this story that leaves you wanting more. And for me, the scene in "The Nail" was one of the best parts of this story, and where I fell in love with Mack and Mills. I can't wait for the next installment!
