Yes indeed, but don’t forget the guitar will need to be wearing a blue dress paint job….with the accompanying stain…

Misunderstandings are going to lead to a larger issue... The flare of jealousy surprised him with its sharpness. It was irrational, he knew that, and yet it burned. Gianluca looked whole in that moment, aligned with himself, untouched by the compromises Matteo carried like lead beneath his ribs. Gianluca, for his part, noticed Matteo only after. He saw the strain at the corners of Matteo’s mouth, the careful neutrality, the faint shadow beneath his eyes. He mistook it for calculation, for the caution of a man who had chosen safety over truth. And the greed of a Pope will lead to many lives wasted...

The Space Between Breaths
drsawzall commented on Tony S.'s story chapter in The Space Between Breaths
Is this a first, positive step, or another distraction? Kent is smart enough that he knows he needs to interrupt the spiraling he is suffering from. The hardest part is that honest assessment that he isn’t alone and needs the help of others. has he turned that corner? -
With my fear of heights, they would have to use several rolls of duct tape to ensure I was "strapped" in...just kidding folks... Something I haven't done yet and look forward to doing!~ !

2026 Poetry Anthology - Choices - **Wrap-up**
drsawzall commented on Valkyrie's blog entry in Gay Authors News
My thanks to all who helped to put this anthology together and to all who participated. For me, this was my first foray delving into the land and world of poets. I am ever so humbled by the support and the welcoming comments my entry received. To all of you, my thanks, and looking forward to next year! -
I suspect the ghost is the recently departed guitarist….

Looks to be very interesting…I once lost most of my muffler system one dark and stormy night. Fortunately it was on a small country, rural road and I was able to collect all the pieces, and put it back together so I could be on time for a hot date, but that’s a story for another time….

Kaplan was correct in chewing out Killian, and I fear to little or no affect. One thought, at least it wasn’t a car chase… The sirens were growing louder. "I was hiding, but I, um, revealed myself when Alexander shot Ricky." "What do you mean?" "I...may have confronted him." "You confronted the guy with a gun who'd just shot somebody? With a gun..." "I just...reacted in the moment." "You could have been killed!" "I know." "Killian!" "I know Well, all that is left is to find out who killed the professor. Will Ricky be able to shed any light on the killer? When it was mentioned that the authorities were looking for Joiner, my money is still on him. I suspect the professor confronted him at the dig site.

My only concern is that too many others saw Declan’s leg. Explaining the near miraculous healing is going to engender several difficult questions. I have to ask, is it possible that the miracle of the waters might extend Cianan’s time amongst us?

Taking that first step is the hardest, and while there isn't any overnight 'cure', the path forward begins...

The Pope will not take the news of the sacking of this city well... There is much to be answered for, for the slaying of the innocents was a step too far... Danilo certainly proved his mettle, and that he's got the courage that no one else had that day...

April Signature Author Excerpt: Boss Nanny by Mrsgnomie
drsawzall commented on Cia's blog entry in Gay Authors News
Just a delightful story to read, there's so much I want to say, well, I did in my comments and reactions, but you need to read this, seriously...you need to read this story!!! -
I have to thank my father for the ability to colorfully curse, and he was the master. While I never actually timed him, he could go on and on until whatever storm had crawled up his backside passed. I clearly remember the day he was moving large rocks in what was going to be our front lawn. He was using a six foot steel bullpoint, a type of crowbar, easily three quarters of an inch thick as it tapered to where one would hold it. Long story short, neither the large rock and the bull point were cooperating, much to my father’s frustration. And by the time he finished cursing up a blue streak, both the large rock and the bullpoint were not the same, the rock moved and the bullpoint had a slight curve where none was before.

Thank you, as you can tell, this was a very difficult subject, it never fails to make me question my sanity that we live in a society that accepts children need to die, and for what!

Chapter 6 Boy Meets Face Card
drsawzall commented on Grayson Rose's story chapter in Chapter 6 Boy Meets Face Card
Peter may not be wrong… “Will you listen to yourself?” He shouted. “You sound like a crazy person right now. I’m not your boyfriend. I was wrong for kissing you. It was a friend helping a friend.” “A friend? Since when have you been a friend? Peter, I’m not stupid. I know what I felt. You were hard.” Peter threw his hands in the air. “I’m a sexual guy. My cock gets hard if the wind blows. It doesn’t mean I want to date the wind. You have to get over this idea of you and me being anything more than what we currently are.” His frustration was evident, and his words were laced with poison for my heart and feelings. -

So much now depends on the men, material, and other goods that Louis needs to further prosecute the war. So much of this needs to be imported, as the support he once enjoyed is fading. Shortly, he will be facing a war of attrition, and time becomes the enemy...

A Two Man Job, Part Three of Three
drsawzall commented on Boy Mercury X's story chapter in A Two Man Job, Part Three of Three
I grew up in the trades; my father was an architect. When I was old enough, I would work weekends and summers on construction sites. Later on, it is how I put myself through college. And like most of my generation, my degree qualified me for employment in fields that paid less than construction work. It took some time to find the right fit, with the right company, and starting at the very bottom, I worked my way up over 35 years to a corner office on the executive floor. And when I say starting at the bottom, duties included changing out the stained ceiling tiles, fixing broken plumbing, most of the time with a plunger, to sweeping sidewalks and parking spaces. At the same time, monitoring who was using our dumpsters cause the bastards were too cheap to buy locks... over time, I became a project manager for renovations to our buildings, seven offices nationwide, and managed a yearly renovation/office improvement budget worth millions. Thanks to you, I can never look at drywall the same way, ever again...😉 -
And the tide is beginning to to turn!
