The Outcome, and Getting Away
drsawzall commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in The Outcome, and Getting Away
Thank goodness that Dylan made the choice to seek out help. Life hasn't been easy, in fact it's been pretty craptastic...and his call serves as a reminder to us all, there ain't no shame in seeking help, professional or otherwise!!! -
Just loved this chapter, thank goodness Jubal has a bit of cash left over so the next time he's in town he can buy some larger" pants!!!! What a sweet and delightful chapter this was...Just loved the following!!!! “Maybe so,” he answered with a grin. “But for truth, I’m talking about my heart this time, not my cock. Don’t want to sound like one of them men what get weepy about things when they’re full of drink, but I be right full of feelings.” “Sound any way you want to. Vincent taught me a long time ago a man should say what stirs his heart and never be sorry for it. Believe he was right, and I won’t let nothing stop me from saying what you make me feel.”

Another time in stasis is coming up, one wonders for how long?

Early days for Mike, if I had to guess/bet...there's a storm that's gonna start brewing shortly, testing everyone...

The dichotomy here is simply stunning to say the least...

Then that answers the last question, don't it....BTW look out for the sidewalk on your way out...

What bothers me on second reflection as @Sherye Story Reader noted, he didn't even frigging ask before penetration...who does that these days???

What interesting discoveries lay ahead in the terms of Tech and how it works, and will they uncover all of those who were involved in the coup?

Music has often been described as the language of love, you did it proud with this story...well done and thanks for sharing this story with us!!

Well, one issue is resolved tho I doubt Liam is smart enough to understand or accept what just happened... And as others noted, the junk in the trunk...opps the frigging gun🤨...We still don't understand the origins of the animosity between Liam and Jake, what gives?? Did our intrepid hero go overboard by... Telling Liam his plans with Jake.... Will Liam somehow appear before the dirty deed happens... What's going on with Elle and Pete... What is the mystery surrounding Jake's past... Is it too late for...

Not good at all...at all...To me it is a case of 'Say goodnight Irene"...I'm having trouble with the chutzpa Jackson displays...he's an educator for Christ's sake...what he did simply isn't done without acquiescence ...kicking him to the curb may not be far enough...Jackson needs to be tested ASAP and the same for Dylan and rinse and repeat every 3 months... What a frigging dork...no wait....

And the red herrings multiply like the loaves and the fishes... Then there is still this from the previous chapter... “And you say Sam was aware of his grandmother’s intention to pass on her remaining assets to the tribe?” Calhoun asks me. “He knew. She wasn’t shy about sharing her disappointment in his life choices. I think it broke her heart a little to see what he’d done with the money his parents had left him. That might have been what prompted her decision to give hers to someone else.” “Not just someone else,” Calhoun says. “You.”

Everything Has Changed
drsawzall commented on frozenphenix's story chapter in Everything Has Changed
Well, ain't that surprise to say the least... A door like that, once opened as with Kyle, Marshal, Tamir, and now mom ain't gonna be easy to close... Leaving the team was the best thing to do, if they decided to turn on you, screw 'em...actions getting reactions speak much louder.... If dear old dad is banned from the house, it is nigh onto the time to cut him loose...I still think dad needs two behind the ear, it would cure a whole lotta of headaches... mm -
The following struck home with me...and as @Dan South noted, as an older gay man, it has been a tremendous learning experience learning the different stripes and flavors our family comes in. I can only think of the struggles I faced as a 14 year-old-boy in 1969 as I entered high school for the first time in a new school miles, from my old school. Leaving one backwater town to move to a town even deeper in the sticks. While there are times I struggle with today's nuances in pronouns, and in my exasperation and frustrations, I simply remind myself of the struggles I faced. I concur with @Dan South, this story has value and has opened my eyes, while I will always seek to see the lighter side with humor, and yes at times an acerbic comment, there isn't any escaping the struggles some of our family face in trying to be their authentic selves. When those who claim to lead our country, can't disparage the things that are working, they turn their sights on those who need our help, not disparagement. To the day who we are and love, matter less than the content of our character.

So many good things in this chapter plus the fact I was able to expand, hush all you wankers, my knowledge of UK English idioms.. >Well, what with you not being around. That’s not like you. I asked your Mum, and she were a bit close-mouthed about it, said you were busy, like. But I got it out of her in the end. About you being gay and all that and having a boyfriend. Colin felt like laughing, though he kept quiet. Despite their long friendship, his Mum had always referred to Anne as a nosey besom, one who was adept at getting information out of people. She was, in a word, an old gossip, but one with a heart of gold. >I told her that she ought to be thankful that you've settled, what with the business and now a young man. I said to her, 'what counts is that he's happy'. So I just had to see what besom was and was delighted to find the following...and oh my goodness as to the cultural associations...things my mama never told me... Besom - Wikipedia Then as slang... Besom as a term of mild contempt for a woman, especially one who is awkward or surly, began to appear in Scots near the end of the eighteenth century and is also known in several dialects of northern England, including Lancashire. It’s an example of synecdoche, a woman who does household chores by wielding a besom becoming known by its name. World Wide Words: Old besom

Hats off to Brian for having the good sense to apologize for his stupidity and for Ryan being a big enough person to accept that apology. I truly have to give credits to Brian for realizing he had no business getting into that car once he could smell the booze and the weed. I would like to think he would have done so despite Ryan's warning, but we'll never know... This was a very enjoyable story and thank you for sharing it with us!!!

Flashing Lights and an Announcement
drsawzall commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in Flashing Lights and an Announcement
From your comment to God's ears.... -
Not sure just what to say here, if Dylan decides to reconnect with Liam, then they both deserve each other and hopefully end up with miserable lives...honestly, what a sad pathetic cast of idiots we have here... I find it implausible that Dylan allowed Liam to treat him like he did in the bedroom, that he didn't scream or lash out...After what he did to him in the past, I'd be swinging a bed-side lamp at his head, not f'ing moaning in response to his forced kiss...and here I thought his Moma didn't raise a fool... And Jake with all his medals and training couldn't hold his own, what is the story between the two of them, they have some sort of past or connection...then, why the gun in the trunk...I'd be dropping that fool like a hot potato...Liam needs to serve time in a secure mental treatment facility... Both Dylan and Jake failed at the, let's communicate ifin we're gonna be boyfriend's thing...Not sure any insurance is gonna cover all of the psychiatric treatment needed by these clowns...

Will Toby find out Bell is a person who simply uses others of either sex to satisfy his own selfish needs???

A very interesting chapter to say the least...then there is the following, I shudder to think some folks might get their hands dirty... I asked, "Why are you upset? Many kings and queens throughout the world have kept slaves or even made wars to capture and sell others into slavery." Francis replied, "Duke Eli has taught us that the measure of wealth was not in the ownership of lands or men, but it is based on the ability of individuals to freely interact and produce wealth for themselves, their families, and their nations. Slaves are held for no other reason than to be property, while they are also human beings with the capacity to create wealth and improve nations. The Aztecs and Inca built cities and pyramids that rivaled the ancient Romans and Egyptians, why enslave their creativity and ability on farms, when they can do more." I said, "If every slave owner frees their slaves, how can they farm their land?"
