I'm of the opinion that Seeri is a force for the good, being the twice great granddaughter of Wanda Pigfoot. Jamie would have been able to sniff out any deception. Something that was overlooked in all of the commenting, I believe Seeri was in the red tower they are traveling to, and now...getting there has become so much easier. I don't think they will be going right away, they still need time to figure some things out, such as understanding the fundamental nature of magick, learning the ability to turn it off and on, like we would do with a lightswitch...or to remove the ability from those who are deserving of such a fate. Just as importantly, they need a blanket spell to counter the mind control pf Lodda, Porvus and Urvan, and free the mages affected... A trip to the nether is needed pronto!!!

Let's hope they now have the time to refine the new ideas concerning electrums and magick...it would be wonderful, if a bit anticlimactic, to finally face off against Lodda, Porvus, and Urvan, and the three of them suddenly find themselves without any magickal abilities. Especially if all the underling mages were without their magick... This also has me pondering...friend or foe, I would chose, friend... In the distance were some of the towers, resembling the inn in structure, but many floors higher. Between the towers and their window was a wide, flat stretch of ground covered completely by the gray stone of the ancients. Directly across this span of stone, and slightly to their left, stood an odd-looking....something. Jamie had never seen its like before, and so had no name for it. It somewhat resembled a tree, but one grown by the most demented of gardeners. Its bole was blue, somewhat crooked as it climbed skyward, and looked metallic in nature. The crooked trunk spread at the top like many leafless branches, all of which were as equally crooked as the base that supported them. Such a thing could not be alive. But even as he watched it, it moved. One of the branches twitched, pointed in their direction, and a light briefly glowed at the end of it. Jamie felt a familiar tingle to his senses; but in the same instant, another of the amazing rounded things flashed past their window, heading in the opposite direction from the first one. So sudden was the movement that Jamie and Garvin both took instinctive steps backwards, Geert extending a hand to stay Garvin, while Jamie backed straight into Snave's unmovable form.

This can't be good... Perhaps I should see a therapist or something? Naw, I’m fine. Like they say, if you think you’re crazy, you’re not. He dried his hands and forgot all about Prometheus and Oblivion. Looking back, Travis marked this as the point at which a small part of him became seduced by Oblivion.

I believe some small chance was missed, unless Jamie was able to glean some of the info Kundun's library, from the mage himself... Knowing now the the plan is for Porvus , Lodda, and Urvan to wipe out much of the known world and those not like them, could their plan also incorporate interstellar travel and not settle for world domination?? This begs the question, and while it is ever so important for Jamie, to come into his own, let's hope the Council of Mages are there when needed. Once again, I feel this is very important... "No." Jamie turned to Flitch and smiled. The nether being's eyes reflected that smile back at him. "Thank you again, my friend." Flitch somehow looked pleased. "It is a small thing in return for watching your growth, which has increased my own powers here in the aether. What I have learned from you is beyond placing a value upon." From Ch 24 Ah. There you are." Flitch's voice sounded as delighted and interested as it always did in Jamie's presence. "You needn't have dropped what you were doing," Jamie protested. "Not at all. A matter of freezing the process in action. I am creating a nexus to contain my elsmits, so that it travels with me as I move." Jamie raised an eyebrow at that. "Sounds complicated."

Well said and I could not say it any better!!! The following truly bothers me... I had decided that I wanted to go to Craig’s house. I know it is wrong, but I can’t resist Craig’s advances. Someday it will end, but I just want to enjoy the times we get together now. All we have to do is be careful and no one will ever know.

One thing is becoming abundantly clear, while Jamie and his fellow travelers are acting in concert, with a sense of unity, derived from a noble common purpose. One could be assured it isn't the case with Porvus with his hierarchy of minions...who operate on a level of personal fear from the way Porvus treats and uses them...not a sustainable, for lack of better words, business model.......
