And just who is Clara, what is her talent??? Wow, simply wow... Beatrice. He smelled like Beatrice. He smelled like her magic, without the rot. “I think I know your mother. Dave! Your eyes…” I said. They were shining, pulsating. The weight of this revelation hung heavily in the air. An unbidden, raw energy began to emanate from Dave. So familiar. It was as if the very fabric of his being was reacting to this newfound knowledge, struggling to break free. Facing him, I couldn’t help but raise my arm towards him, like an instinctual pull. A gentle, radiant light began to emanate from my hand, its glow intensifying as it reached out towards his eyes. Our lights met. The air around us seemed to pause, time slowing down. The world itself was holding its breath. The point in space where our lights coalesced transformed spectacularly—the golden hues were no longer constrained. The colors, all the colors. I found you. “I found you,” I said, a single tear sliding quietly down my cheek

Thank you for taking the time out of your life, to grace these pages with this saga. Hurricanes, personal events, not to mention crazy work events, did not deter and like USPS, neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night nor the denizens of the korner stays this author from the swift completion of these chapters.... Well done, you are a shining light here on these pages and a major reason GA is the site we all have come to love... What is that???? Ok all you haters....My clerk of court just handed me a note...the jury has reached a decision...they've gone to Brazil!!!! Caleb. Ah, yes. Our beloved, messed up, fucked-in-the-head, Caleb. Love him or hate him, he was a great character overall. I had to figure out how to take a well-respected Alpha, drag him through Hell (hi, Lucifer!), and then find his way to redemption. I hope I nailed it. Boy oh boy did you nail Caleb, someone I've begrudgingly come to respect, and as you know from my comments, you more than hit the mark...Thank you!!!!!!

The beginning of the chapter hit all the right notes and was well done... Not sure I'm impressed with Makani...so far, he's way out of bounds in deeds and thoughts...he needs to stop thinking with his dick considering the current circumstances...trouble is what he is...trouble... Makani found Charlie to be pretty good in the looks department and him trying to take care of Joey according to what Uncle Ke had said really got Makani interested. Very, very few nineteen-year-olds would do that. Charlie had depths to him that was certainly admirable.

Lot of interesting things in this chapter, liking some of the background of our protagonists and would like to see more... Concerned about Felicity self-medicating, why the medications and what is in the needle?

Fantastic start, loved the imagery throughout this chapter... One section truly hit home for me... Ashlee burst out of the ground level door into the chilly air. Taking a chance on her shoes, she ascended a grassy embankment onto the street. The Metro station was at the edge of her vision and approaching ever so slowly as her skin started to moisten under the layers. Ashlee replayed the phone call as she kept her punishing pace up the sidewalk. She hadn’t come up with a plan yet for coming out to her mother, but whispering it into her casket seemed like a pretty good one.

Different strokes for different folks, it is a wide world we live in and alcohol as a lubricator can lead to some unfortunate/unkind moments no matter which way one swings... One can certainly hope that no pictures were taken as one or two could lead to quite the ruckus....not to mention custody issues...

There is the disused building that might server a nefarious purpose but hen while the comments and speculation give us so many more freaking red herrings... Then there is the following... “And you say Sam was aware of his grandmother’s intention to pass on her remaining assets to the tribe?” Calhoun asks me. “He knew. She wasn’t shy about sharing her disappointment in his life choices. I think it broke her heart a little to see what he’d done with the money his parents had left him. That might have been what prompted her decision to give hers to someone else.” “Not just someone else,” Calhoun says. “You.”

Games, Progress, and There's One in Every Crowd

Starting out 2 and 1, with Corey's insights in coaching has to be noticed by some of the team as Craig picked up on...I would not be surprised if the majority of the team rallies around Roy and Corey... -
Talk about repressed libidos...they have it bad...

One of the hallmarks of a great story is the reactions generated, and boy oh boy did you hit that nail directly on the head, to me while I was shocked by the ending it was what made the story so enjoyable, it ranks right up there with some of the best Twilight Zone stories/episodes... This is one of the best things about Gay Authors, to be able to present original works for we readers to peruse and enjoy. I will be the first to admit it, life for all of us can be demanding even at the best of times and I think most of us look forward to some light, enjoyable reading. On the other hand, I enjoy well thought out tales that make me think and react via the comment section! For the most part, in my writhing I tend to shy away from the overly dramatic along with minimizing extreme violence. Once I was challenged to go way outside my comfort zone and am not sure if it was the right thing to do. I believe you can attest to that by way of some of my comments...I have to agree with @weinerdog, I like the idea of an alternate ending or a full blown 'Dallas' treatment. Either way I am fine with whatever you decide. Once again, the first version was tremendous, you managed to hit a home run every author strives for...to that I say, well done Sir!!

Well, that was one sweet and entertaining chapter to say the least... Ok then, as the car nut here, I whole heartedly agree with the way the restoration is going on the Mini Cooper S. To some aficionados, that car could be considered a "Barn Find" with the caveat recognizing that the car wasn't garaged but stored outside. Because of that, critical safety systems may/might have been compromised as well as the overall integrity of the structural components. While there are those who 'barn finds' more desirable, the more you use it as is, or any minimal work done, detracts from the value. As long as any work done, and this includes primer and paint, is OEM, the car won't lose value. As noted before, there are bespoke workshops that can, for instance, recreate the electrical wiring harness to OEM specs. Ok then...enough car talk...it is way too soon to think the boys might decamp from Harry's...Everyone grows up and leaves the nest at some point, I don't think the boys are there yet!! That's my story and I am sticking to it!!!! Happy belated New Years to all!

I'd believe Dominic, I would gently ask him to explain things a bit better if it were possible or provide more details...There are other students he is mentoring, do they share similar incidents? I would not willing to rekindle with Zach, yet...if at all... As to Jackson's face, is there another explanation??? I would not confront Jackson without witness present and do it in a public setting...if the accusation is found to be true, the school needs to be notified... And under any circumstances is Dominic to be alone with Jackson. -
humm.... "Jack Hume and Eric Meeks. Two individuals in two new bodies. Your consciousness has been reincarnated, time has been reset, and the cycle will continue. Total active core count: 28,657, calculating humanity extinction probability: 99.7%."

Oh my goodness...what have we gotten ourselves into? The Queen ignoring the warning signs, Aaron's hasty exit from the amusement park and now we hope a safe return to the castle...will Itumak pull it together??? What awaits our protagonists upon their return???
