I think before the boys draw any closer and make suppositions, that TY should be asked what his feeling are...we know he leans strongly towards Seth, would he be willing or ready for multiple partners??? Lots of stuff still unresolved here...and where is Seth's father???

Let's call the end of the fight for what is was, self-preservation.... Finally, the ref-bot stopped the match. He took a bow when it declared him the winner and whipped out his kin card to make sure they transferred all his winnings to it. He was preoccupied with that and didn’t notice Coalic had recovered and was in the process of launching a massive energy ball at him. The overwhelming sensation of something staring at him coupled with an all-consuming sense of impending doom overcame him and he turned. The instant he saw Coalic, he reacted without thinking. His energy blast destroyed everything below her chest, and she fell. Dead.

Loved this chapter, Dr Hamlin and his guests should be very impressed. I think they learned what they and others would call, poor unfortunate souls, are anything but...All it takes is a bit of care, compassion, and most of all...love for those who need it!!! The following simply gets to me each time the children go fishing... “What are they singing?” “They are singing in Italian and telling the mermaids they are here.” “All the boys are singing.” “Yes and if you watch some of the private yacht owners and other fishermen, they are singing as well.” As we approached the boat, the captain was standing at the end of the boarding plank. The boys saluted and asked permission to board. As the boys boarded they found their seats. Charley and Charles along with their boys were already on board. I introduced Dr. Hamlin to the captain and first mate, and Colin showed them their seats. The captain blew the whistle and we were off. The boys kept signing, I told Dr. Hamlin they were now telling to the mermaids to put the fish on their line and they would give them a kiss.

While I wouldn't put if past the Other queen of the Korner Krew to change the timelines, but I believe Vann was with the foster parents before the poison crap went down I still have issues with Caleb for not involving his pack before the poison could truly have its terrible effects...

The best plans of battle rarely survive first contact with the enemy... A very powerful chapter and will the various factions rising up be able to coordinate? That Gustave needs to die isn't in doubt...can it be done now, will they get away with it and out of the city????

The only comment I could possibly make would be instutionalized.

Another great chapter and loved the food selections!!! Methinks the "free" publicity is going to have an impact to say the least!!! Looking forward to the next, enjoy being ahead on your work project, it doesn't happen often...

Ok haters...here we go...my reward for moving is the Pat's/Raiders game in Lost Wages and 5, count them, 5 glorious days hiking in the Grand Canyon... Not sure I am fully convinced...Caleb, if I read this correctly still let others raise Vann, before he was poisoned!?!? Before Vann was kidnapped, were you having any odd physical symptoms? Rashes, headaches, itching? Anything?” Caleb thought, but nothing came to him. Then he remembered something. “I couldn’t get rid of this weird metallic taste in my mouth. Everything I ate tasted like copper. Even now, food has an odd flavor. I chalked it up to stress.” And as Asa notes...being poisoned was no excuse...need more Intel before I go running for the Caleb bandwagon... he's still a putz...notice that's a step or two up from the steaming pile of manure...

I'm a tad surprised that Deidre was so quick to turn Toby over to Brian, but then again it has been a theme throughout so far. I'm not sure if there are possible ramifications a bit further down the road with jasper...as noted previously, what if Jasper moves on...leaving Deidre single again...Then there's the loss of income to Deidre from Brian, he can't possibly be expected to support her...unless as a single mum she asks for Toby back... So true!!! Toby is where he needs to be and living close to Grandpa Drew has to do wonders for his curiosity about the natural world!!

As a child I have to wonder if Lord Abraxas had play dates and was ever asked to come back for another... I also have to believe who ever attacked Travis and Lip survived the encounter...

Here's a thought from way out in left field...what if Beckett is to become what that danged, worthless ball of fur poising as a cat, is supposed to be???

That damned feline needs to spend several of it's 9 lives in servitude to the Wisps....

Chapter 10 Hallelujah and Amen
drsawzall commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 10 Hallelujah and Amen
Am I the only one seeing storm clouds on the horizon, it's been some time and our wounded robber/killer is still out there, I suspect he'll be looking for the ones that killed his brothers...News like that must have spread from town to town like wildfire.. Then there are those who gave Jubal the necktie party with a long rope...sounds to me that they may have been cowboys traveling with a herd, might they possibly come by way of Bearpaw??? We haven't come to the bottom of that mystery ..- 108 comments

Chapter 10 Hallelujah and Amen
drsawzall commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 10 Hallelujah and Amen
Lyme disease is no joke, my father suffered and recovered. Living in the woods and as much time I spend hiking/mountain biking I have a high chance of encountering ticks. Once a year I get a script for Doxycyclin to keep handy. Taking as directed once I find a tick, I've managed to avoid Lyme disease. Researchers have found antibodies in of all things...deer. While they may carry lyme, they don't catch it. it is hoped that a vaccine will follow. Do what you need to do Gary, we can wait....freaking loved the lesson on framing windows for a log cabin... \- 108 comments

Jeremy's Story and Derek Comes Clean
drsawzall commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in Jeremy's Story and Derek Comes Clean
While I use the trope elsewhere, if certainly fits here...I sense that there are red herrings lurking in the paragraphs... -
If you ain't the predator, then you are breakfast, lunch, or dinner...

Carlo is one lucky young man in regards to Mike's health... Mike did remain unconscious during the MRI, but woke soon after. Perhaps because Carlo hit both knees at once, neither got too much damage. Mike would heal on his own, no surgery required. Only a night or two in the hospital would be required. Mike will have a lot of explaining to do to Mr. Armstrong once he gets home from his business trip on Friday. Needless to say, his explanations weren't quite truthful.

I get the feeling they won't be tossing rose petals in his path....

I had to use the web to find out a bit about Freida Kahlo...and I learned something new today... Frieda Kahlo - Search (bing.com) It is a good thing this story isn't taking place in the Deep South of the USA, Deirdre would most likely organize the following, when the news came out about a homosexual relationship and skinny dipping: a book burning, flaming crosses on the lawns of suspected gays, a stoning in the public square, banning anything with a rainbow print, an assault on subjective pronouns, midnight torch rallies, and a crucifixion or three....Oh, lest I forget, returning the civil war statues of traitorous confederate generals to their proper place in the town square. BTW...loved the visits with the grands...

The solicitor was spot on when she told Brian to keep a log of 'incidents' with Deidre and it may come to pass that Miss Wilson may also have some info to add. I can't fathom WTF Deidre was thinking when she shoved Toby out of the house other than if she took any more time in giving him boot out, was that she was rushed for time and might miss her, ferry, plane, bus, train, or was it a frigging broom.... Love Toby's enthusiasm with the plants. Being of a certain age and a few years north of retirement, I have a Christmas Catus given to me by my 4th grade teacher just after the civil war...That plant has followed me for the better part of my life...I think it is going to end up in my will!!! Toby seriously should think of a pollinators garden to go along with the bees...I get a distinct feeling he will really get along with Gordon's parents!!!
