Thanks Geron for another fantastic tale with a truly superb ending. I am sure the housewarming party will be splendid, with just a hint of problems for the boys and friends to solve! I hope they don’t change the house at all as who knows what roads any of the doors may lead to!!

As noted before, this chapter played strongly on the subtilty the wide range of emotions depicted, from Reid, Luas, and even the horses expressed, setting the stage for a tour de force of emotive brilliance. Exceptionally well written and as powerful a chapter as any of the others in this saga... We readers at GA are thankful for the authors who grace these pages with their craft, and this story stands shoulder to shoulder with the best this site offers!

Just think, only 4 chapters left to confuse the heck out of us...good job Quokka! Can't wait to see what unfolds...I do have concerns abut 4 days at sea knowing how other people in your stories keep losing, or having their boats blown up!!!

I think the good Doc has the right of it, it works very well as a flashback to say the least. It was another well written chapter, true to the history of the times. The dialogue and pacing is/was superb of course, and I know I am harping, none of it matters iffin y'all don't take of yourself first!!! Oh Colin…you need to divorce your family pronto…being the youngest I also ended up as my indigent parents caretaker/provider. No help was ever offered and nothing was left for them, my parents choice. It raised a stink but their wills were very clear…
