They are ridiculously in love and it was so much fun to write. Coming out to his parents is a big deal to Mikeal and things keep getting in his way (especially family). Good thing Adam is so patient Thanks for the review!!

For their first argument, it wasn't terrible or that dramatic, but I think I love them too much to have them fight too much! The making up was totally worth it, and I agree that Adam is finally coming to terms with how he feels and is comfortable letting Mikeal know it. Thanks for the review!

I've been in my place for a little over 2 years and I'm still delighted with it. (It was a rough start at first, figuring out how things worked, but it's smooth sailing for right now). My circumstances were a little bit different, I was desperate to get out of my parent's house before my father and I killed each other, but my sister had plenty of time to shop around

I guess it depends. I got my house in two weeks, it took my sister over a year. Good luck on the new place!

I loved the hat making scene for some reason. It was just fun. And you are definitely right, Mikeal's anxiousness to come out to his parents definitely gets stronger the more invested in the relationship he becomes. And Adam, with his early experience with his ex, is not one to rush into things either, which I think works well for both of them. Thanks for the review!

Thank you. I really enjoyed writing this chapter, especially the late night talk and the comfort that followed. Mikeal is pretty open and honest about how he feels and definitely doesn't like playing games, which is a good trait, in my opinion. And no, he is not a fling, nowhere even close. Thank you for the comments.

I think Adam is a little bit jealous of Julie, but the good thing is that he knows it and deals with it. And concern is definitely there…getting out of a moving car is not a good idea and Mikeal was very reckless in his haste to help Julie, which I think was a good thing for Adam to point out. Thanks for the comments!

There was indeed a lot of discussion about the L word this chapter and I think Adam handled Mikeal's declaration very well and maturely. And of course Mikeal thinks about and analyzes his own feelings, as he is prone to do, but I think he is happy with the conclusion he came to. I really like Adam, and especially the way he takes care of Mikeal, as you pointed out. And yeah, Adam isn't thinking that Mikeal means anything he says right now, as he is pretty tipsy, veering into drunk. I did the anime as much justice as I was able to…I have watched anime and done cosplay in the past, but just a very little bit and nothing as impressive as what I see around cons now. Thank you for the review!!

Thank you. Mikeal's transition was short, mostly because I didn't want to draw out Mikeal's moping or Adam getting frustrated. I love the coffee shop scene as well, even though I get as exasperated with Mikeal as Adam does sometimes! Glad you like it!

I think you have left a comment in the story in my forum before. I'm glad you like Julie and Adam's picnic date…I thought it was super romantic and cute! Yeah, Mikeal is a little worried about jumping into things, but hopefully he'll get over it soon. Thank you for the review!!

Thank you! I'm glad you liked the start of Mikeal's story. He is a shy guy, but he can be bold and impulsive when he wants to, especially when he finds something that sparks his interest! Glad you are enjoying it.

Write sequentially or 'whatever comes to your mind'?

I also have ADHD and nearly never write something sequentially. I'll usually start a story sequentially, but if I get stuck or think of a scene that comes up later on in the story, I'll skip to that scene, work on it and then later I'll usually come back to the point where I left off and continue writing from there. It sounds weird to me, but it's worked so far. -
