    Shepherd's Crook

I've just caught up with this story KC and, yeah, you're right - I got a bit too excited yesterday and jabbed the wrong button, then the site locked up on me. I'm guessing the bitch-cow isn't going to be redeemed. Are you plotting a Tarantino-type gore-fest exit for her? You know, lots of mess and body bits to clean up, with maybe some tasty pickings for the crows? I thought the plot was switching into a werewolf tale when you wrote "Ethan ran his fingers through his wet hair, his hands balled into fists, black hair sprouted between his clenched fingers." Heheheh, but maybe that comes later? Keep up the good work KC and keep us guessing
  2. Gotta be. Batman and Robin was my homoerotic fantasy as a kid. And nipples on his costume?! Why didn't they go the extra mile and stick BatRings through 'em?
  3. Zombie

    Chapter 8

  4. There should be a health warning in the thread title otherwise geeks will be nerding out ...
  5. Shakespeare: confirmation that he wrote / co-wrote all his plays, and silence the naysayers once and for all

    Chapter 1

You just made a zombie cry, KC
  7. Zombie

    Chapter 1

Powerful piece KC. So few words, so much meaning, so much unsaid but understood. Yeah, can't add to what's already been written. Hope you're now in a much better place.
  8. More like a terrible waste
  9. Definitely cool. Amazing what can be done with imagination, application and modest cash
  10. Spoilsport - you've just ruined Prince's fantasies
  11. Um, I'm not sure either is "openly gay". Keneau is a bit of a joker when he says things and is confident enough in his own image not to care what others think - he probably says things just to wind other people up. And Wentworth - it's only rumours isn't it?
  12. Just a word of caution guys, wouldn't want anyone catching any nasty diseases ... http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Is_project_free_tv_safe http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Is_Project_Free_TV_illegal Maybe someone who knows about this stuff can give an opinion?
  13. Lots more dead ones too Also: Ellen DeGeneres Alan Bennett (actor and playwright) Simon Russell Beale Simon Callow (Four Weddings and a Funeral) More here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Gay_actors
  14. I've noticed quite a few "straight" girls at GA enjoy reading gay male stories. And many write gay fiction too, some not so successfully ("chicks with dicks"), but others create utterly convincing male characters, scenarios, dialogue and emotions. I've no evidence, but I'm guessing that straight guys are not big readers or writers of girl on girl stuff (they're probably more interested in watching it ... ), so I'm curious about the appeal of gay male stories for female readers and writers. What is it? Is it the erotic male on male thing you like? Or is it other stuff - you know, the conflict between a rugged "masculine" guy and his emotions kind of thing? And if you do like the erotic side do you also like, er, looking at it too? (heheh you needn't answer this bit unless you want to ).
  15. But good entertainment value, right?
  16. Er, no. They may be many things. But "normal"? Whatever that is, they are not
  17. sin And since when have "terrible" and boy band success been mutually exclusive?
  18. Ahh, but for them to go, first they have to ... er ... *coughs* ... come ...
  19. Yep, it did what it said on the tin. I don't think Rory Bremner could have improved on that
  20. There are all kinds of love. The reality for most people, probably, is not the "total" falling in love forever thing that's the basis of all those romantic novels and movies. It's the ideal and most people want to find it. But maybe some are forever putting off settling down because they've set their expectations so high that no one person they meet ever ticks all the boxes. There's nothing wrong with sharing your life with someone for, as you say, "mutual comfort". But the key word is "mutual" - a shared understanding of the nature of the relationship. It would go badly wrong if expectations were different e.g. the heartache of unrequited love. But why shouldn't two people love each other enough to want to share their lives, but not their beds? Much better to share a life than living a life alone. But that's just my view. Some prefer being single. And that's fine too.
  21. Here's Simon Cowell's next money maker The Mend They failed this week to get to the final of Britain's Got Talent this coming weekend, but they're the classic boy band line-up, including the cute one (rapper Chris), and the leader (Craig - great voice). You don't need to win these shows, they're just a launch pad for SC's growing product range and I'm guessing he's already signed them up. Geeze, he's a clever guy. 22. Nope. Rhythm and blues rock and roll has always been their bag. Boy band for that era, think Monkeeeeees!!!
  23. Err. Hmmmm *scratches head* What was it called? Tricky one *plays with pencil for a bit*. I need to think about that. *has sudden flash of inspiration and looks at thread title for clue* That's it! "Mists of Dawn". By Chad Oliver. It's a great children's sci-fi novel. I recommend it. If you can find a copy !
  24. It's when you're filling in the job application form that it maybe seems like not such a great idea ...
  25. Cute teddies Mike (pic 10) - they were the deal maker right?
