So true. That's what I wanted to try with this story: people aren't rational beings, they don't do the right thing and they make the same mistake twice or trice, w/e. Watching this from the outside...Wise words, Dave. Thank you.

Lol, or that. And he can't be charming all the time don't you think? He's stubborn, and impulsive, and trying to do things instead of things being done with him. What's 'schlong'? And I want to thank you. I feel so much better for getting yelled at now, not that I think myself in the same league as the above mentioned. You're spot on, the descent to reality kicked his world apart too.Well the prayer was a nursery rhyme for me. My great, great aunt let me say it every night. Which also refers to the first poem btw. So I searched the internet for sayings English speaking people know, some I did had already like 'two peas in a pot' and voilà! Thank you for your comment, Irri. I'm glad you like them. -
Well, I guess the dinner has only been part of the reason Jonah took off the necklace. The talk with Matteo, the good bye in the church, there were a lot of small things that led to him doing this.As I said before, it's hard to see Jonah doing this, when you want him to do something else. To be honest, sometimes I think I should change things. But this is Jonah with all his flaws, he has some good things going for him too, at least I hope so. Thank you for reading and commenting, Gary. I really appreciate your thoughts.
