Thank you for your comment Suvitar. I'm always happy to hear from my readers, especially when they're glad. There will be a story about Mark but because I'm not so good at writing regularly atm, I'll finish the story before I start publishing, so that there won't be any long pauses between the chapters.

I had the honor to read this story early and you already know how much I loved it. The characters are well developed, everything felt real and authentic. I don't know much about American history, farms and communities back then (and now), but I loved to read and learn about it. Well done Cole!

Thank you for your lovely comment, Ron. I always struggle with the endings of my stories and I was almost too late because of that. Reading that it worked for you and you liked how it ended is really motivating. So, should I give Mark his own story?

Your message was clear as daylight, I can relate. Personally I like my poems messy, flighty, with turns and breaks, and words dancing around so I have to think 'Huh?' but that is just me. I am not a poet. I don't follow my own rules either.

That was what first came in to my mind too. I don't mind chewing gum as long as they don't talk much, don't chew open-mouthed or sit in my classroom. Oh and eating with chewing gum...yuck.

Just found this review, sorry for answering so late.I never thought it could happen when I wrote 'The Wardrobe' but somehow I feel sorry for him too. He sneaked in and manged to become my favorite character actually. I'd like to give him his own multi-chapter story someday. For now it's just a poem. Thank you for your review Wayne.
