    Bright Thunder

I have to admit it's been a while since I read something of yours. Your writing got even better. WOW! To have such a relationship...I was the fly on the wall, I saw it all live and in colors, I heard the thunder, felt the rain, smelled the food, but above all I saw love.

    Chapter 1

I always read the werewolf stories. The fight was exciting, and I agree with Jo Ann: Bill has quite the nose. Maybe I should work on mine some more? Great story Wayne. Thank you.

    Into the Fire

You already know that I really like this story. Now that I see it all polished, I like it even more. It's interesting to see a part of history I don't know much about. Well I guess I'm learning more when you keep this up.

    Chapter 1

It's the ever present question: What if...? What if they had met at the front? What if they had both survived? What if Owen could have told Todd he loved him? Questions, which can never be answered, which makes them powerful, so powerful they can destroy a life. When I visited Verdun and I saw all those white crosses, I practically felt the lost chances, the unanswered questions, the destroyed hope, the ruined lifes that rested there and elsewhere. You tied all this to a gripping story, made it even more clear, showed what sacrifices have been made.
  13. I'll start....hmmm....at the end this time. And when the weather is too nice to stay inside, the dogs, my laptop and me go out. Together.
  14. In Sickness and in Health He sat beside her bed, holding her hand. She was thin, too thin. Her skin was yellow, as were the whites of her eyes, a telltale sign of liver failure. Sometimes she would fall asleep for several minutes, and then, when she woke, she had this faraway look, as if seeing something nobody else in the room could see. She was forty years old and dying. According to her doctors it would happen in the next few days. Nothing could be done; the cancer had come back. *** I ha

  25. “I can’t believe you asked him that!“ Ralph slapped Andre upside his head before he passed him a wad of paper napkins. “Yeah, me neither.” He took the tissue and dabbed it at his face and chest. “I’m such an idiot.” “That and you stink of beer.” Ralph sniffed at him. “I would never have thought—“ “--yeah that’s obvious.” Ralph shook his head and turned around on his barstool, hopping down on the far side, making sure he didn’t land in the puddle of beer around his friend. “Thinking really is
