Sounds like a storm is coming alright. I was wondering what Chapmistress was. I couldn't figure out if I'd missed it or something. The boys seem so close. I'm glad all three of the guys are going though. Hopefully, there's safety in numbers. This gets better and better.

Wonderful story and clever ending. I was intrigued from beginning to end. For some reason, I'd love to read Ben's story one day. He deserves a little happiness of his own. I love when you have like a "stream of consciousness" run of descriptive emotions in a person like when you were talking about Ben and what he'd done. It was sad and although horrible, you wrote it in a way that pulled at the reader's heart. Of course, Shaun and Adam ride off into the golden light that flows from Adam. Loved this!!!!!

Ben is a tortured soul from way back. At least him actions with Daniel tapped the compassion in him and made him a better man. Nothing else to say about him.

You are squeezing every piece of the puzzle before letting us put it in place aren't you. Just when I think I've figured something or someone out, you squeeze the puzzle and it doesn't fit.

It's almost like players in any sport. There's always those that want to win no matter the cost and then there's those that do it for the love of the game. Then it's those that have just fallen into the trap of playing regardless. They are forced into becoming a team, but their individuality never meshes into one person, just into the game.
