Great first attempt, and youngsters always seem to have infallible hearing

What a beautiful piece. It makes the reader rethink life and the things you've noticed and those you should've y noticed. As I get older, I wonder about my friends from the past. Many moved away, others, I drifted apart from. Like holidays you always wish for the moment, but it's gone in a second. I felt tearful at the thought of him standing and staring at the mountain reliving such a beautiful moment and not being able to contact his counterpart. . Now, I'm wondering why you don't write more. As I said, beautiful and touching story. Thank you.

Also, I've got to admit, I saw your blog on the site today and for some reason, when person blogs that I've never really interacted with on the site, I check out their profile to see if they write. If thy do, I read something of theirs to gain a little insight and it seems to work. I think I like you story, and the fact that James comes from a humble and loving background. It's funny how when you work with people for so long that they become like family which it seems in this case.

I guess what jumped out at me in this chapter is sweet Button's thoughts at the end of the chapter. It's heartbreaking with all that has happened to him that he still feels uncertain of how his own family feels about him. I hope all turns out well for his best bud Andy

I just don't see a lot of good coming out of this situation. Ryan expects Kyle to be trustworthy and leaves him in bed with David? Not happening. After all, Kyle didn't tell Ryan about spending time with David. One lie leads to another and deception can kill a relationship quicker than anything. I love the build up in you story.

Things are getting a bit testy. David seems to hold his cards close to his chest.

I like the fact that David didn't give in immediately. I'm a little puzzled about the threesome deal. The two men seemed to love each other. Is David just a little spice added to the mix? On to the next chapter.

You're right. I've always wondered why people lash out when they are hurt or feel that they'll be dependent on their loved one or partner. Maybe seeing the other healthy and thinking they'll be burden sends their pride into overload. Can't wait to see how you bring this to a close. Happy huh? "waits patiently"

I'm a believer in soul mates. Although I travel without my husband a lot, and go visit my best friend some weekends, coming home is always a pleasure. It's him that is home to me, where ever he is. We bicker at times, but nothing over the top. He knows my thoughts, whether I'm worried, happy, or just thinking. He can even feel my fears if they surface, and calms them before they get a grip on me. When I wake in the middle of the night and don't even move, he'll ask, "Why are you awake?" It's uncanny. When we go places, he is either by my side or within sight of me. He brings me a drink before I even ask, knows when I'm ready to go, and knows when someone has annoyed me. If I start to worry about my daughter and grandson, he steps up and actually tells me to let him worry about them, not me. He's so much that soul mate enfolds them all. Caregiver, supporter, comforter, helper, blanket of warmth, and last but not least, lover. So yeah, I believe we all have a soul mate.
